Hopefully you get it figured out! I'm sure the Aggressive VSA will help tremendously.Big thanks! It's not over. I uploaded the original tune back on that I previously have been running. I'm not tinkering with it until I get some data from more runs. I plan on running next Friday. Although, there are supossed to be record high temps midweek, temps are supposed to drop like a rock by next Friday. How low remains to be seen.
I've never been one for excuses so the 13.8's are what they are. I have some ideas but I should've left the tune alone until I tested the effects of the tires. Will see either way! Looking forward to your runs if you hit the track soon.
I went from wheel spin city to a chirp maybe.....you know it's just right when it feels almost like you're skating off the line and you just go!
I ran the car 100% stock one night last year when the wife still had the car and did a 13.9 at 100mphish.....I try to keep immaculate records but I cannot find that time slip to save my life!
Pretty sure the wife though it was a receipt & threw it out! Pretty much average with some people in the low 14's due to conditions. Haven't made it this year due to being rear end 7/02/19 and still dealing with all of that.
Last Friday was Test n' Tune but I was in pretty bad shape after work, I just couldn't get the strength to drive an hour there. This second accident really messed me up and it's been a lot tougher to get out.....Usually just late night runs.
Why I've been using the KTuner/Tunerview 1/4 mile/stats timer so much......been seeing 13.6's in this crazy heat but it definitely feels faster. The stage 2 tune adds so much torque my problem is traction so I really really like the Advanced VSA. Helped me out tremendously! However I am beating or running with much faster cars, pretty blown away with what it can hang with. We have tons of hilly sweeping roads that are fabulous even in the Accord, which unexpectedly keeps up with much quicker cars there as well. I'm telling ya I was over the moon with the Si but this Accord is a hidden gem......I love pulling into the Fri/Sat night lots, I get so much hate but I love being the underdog!
Hopefully I can get in a 1/4 mile again this year. 1/8th Mile whats really big here & 10 minutes from the house, might be able to get in between events.
I'd definitely go back to the stock tune or see if the Econ setting kept it running consistent if I bracket race....just too easy!
