This is what a Civic X Si coupe looks like with a roof rack.

Don't know how I feel about it yet but be nice because she's self conscious.

(Needed it due to lots of travel for work as a crane operator)

Ive been looking for roof racks for the coupe! What's the model name? Also I'm sure you know but the Honda emblem on the back is for the Sedan, if you want it to be the right size, it's the front logo too that goes in the back.

IN MY DEFENSE: that badge went on last night because my last one (that was the right size) got water damage or something and I know I did order the wrong size but decided I'd run it until I got the right one.

Now. Those crossbars fit perfectly. As for the rack itself, obviously a little long so I don't recommend getting a 40x48 cargo rack. The crossbars are recommended by inno to have a 20" spread from front bar to rear bar. They are around 30" on this setup. They are super sturdy and have locking caps with keys. I have 1000% faith in this rack after the install but I must mention I was incredibly skeptical about a clamp style pre-install). In other words, I highly recommend the inno bars. As far as my generic cargo rack goes, 48" is too long and the mounting system makes it sit very high.

The cross bars can be found here: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/253507242958

Had to do a TON of research because I couldn't find any other civic coupes with a rack installed. But this is the one I got and you can count on it working. Looks really good without a cheap rack installed lol

If more people bought smaller cars and modded them for the occasional heavy-luggage travel instead of the current trend where everyone is buying huge trucks and SUVs for the one day a year they go to home-depot, I think the world would be a better place

That's awesome and it's understandable for sure, that sucks that they got damaged. Anyways I'll be on the look out for the racks, are they safe on the paint?

So the only part of anything that has to do with the roof rack that I would be concerned with in terms of paint:

The latches that go underneath the pillars. I don't believe it will damage anything but that's the only part I could see that would. It feels like a very soft metal and matches the angle of the pillar very well. I feel if you install it very carefully, you won't have any issues with scratches. (I didn't)

The top part of the mount is a grippy rubber (where it clamps on the roof) so no harm there.

Crane operator!?! What’s it like being way up there like that? How do you deal with the fear of it toppling over? And what in the hay are you putting in that rack?

I'm a mobile operator, not an overhead. You have charts that tell you what you can lift before you do topple over so normally that's operators fault in the case of tipping. I'm in a Grove 60 ton swing cab. I'll be putting my duffles or a suitcase up there for traveling. Don't get me wrong, the civic coupes have an unbelievable amount of space, I just hate having to throw a duffle bag in the back seat and another in the trunk. Should be easier to just throw it on the rack and go!

I like to make all my stuff pretty utilitarian so I love this. I want a roof rack for my bikes and things. People who wont like this are more concerned with slamming there car with overly large rims and stickers plastered over the windows.

Thanks for this. Saw a sedan with a rack the other week at the mall and tried to do some searching for a coupe with not much avail. Definitely looks good too! May go down this route sometime in the future

As my car is currently in the shop getting D2 lowering springs installed lol. Don't worry, car has 1 sticker on it and 18" wheels.

I'm starting to like it, it was just kinda hard to get over how tall it is but what do you expect. The link for the parts are a few posts up if you're interested!
