All for the looks! If the CTR came in a coupe I may have spent the extra money for it. Fringe benefit of a coupe is when a group wants to go somewhere and they ask "Who's car we gonna take" very few people like the thought of sitting in the back of a coupe.
Think of it less miles on your car

1) it's better looking.

2) only difference in space is like 1.5 inch shorter cabin ceiling (legroom, arm space, etc is all exactly same).

3) bigger trunk.

4) had a sedan and regretted it

5) sedan SI's always tend to look junky after a couple years no matter how modded or maintained.

6) it looks better

I don't know about you, but I bought my Si coupe to drive it. Even taking every opportunity to drive longer, more fun drives and definitely completely unnecessary or needless drives, I'm only at 9,000 miles after a year.

We have a SUV for carrying the family around, or for grocery/hardware stores and buying big stuff. My Si coupe is purely for getting me to and from work. I could fit everyone if necessary (no 2 seaters for me yet) but it's a backup plan only. I think the coupe looks better, but I'm not sacrificing usability to have it, so it was an easy choice.

Would never have considered a sedan myself. Too generic for me. I just can't see a sedan as sporty. More of a family car. Imagine a Mustang, Camaro or Corvette with 4 doors. Ugh.. Coupes are more of a personal car. Love the long doors. IMO the only CivX style more desirable than the coupe to me would be a two door hatch. That would be killer in SI trim.

I have nothing against driving your car I to like to take long drives along the coast and through the farm lands of Florida. It’s just when other people want to go to some place they want to let them put the mileage on their car that’s how I see it

I had to have the Energy green Si. Just got my 18, June 1, 2019. Last new one anywhere. Used ones were more than mine brand new. Sat on the lot for almost 1 year. Got it for $21000 cash.( No actually the coop is very inconvenient I haul my grandson 3 days a week with me and I have to get in the back seat with him to put him in his rear facing child seat but so worth it to have my energy green)

5 times in 3 years is the number of times I've had passengers in the back. Any trips over 3 hours with over 3 adults is too long. In the driver seat all 3 seem the same, not so driving. The over all style of the coupe is the best and is why I got one,

Noticed how none of them talk about practicality? So please tell me why Honda should make a 2dr Hatchback instead of a 4dr? Because there is no way they would offer both, it doesn't make sense. Most people don't buy cars because of styling, they buy them for practicality. Which is why manufacturers don't make 2dr cars apart from sportier cars. It's a separate market. Where would a 2dr hatch fir into this equation? If you want something more sportier looking, you go for the coupe. If you want more practicality, you go for the sedan or the 4dr hatch.
A 2dr hatch would give you a nice looking car with a bit more practicality than a 2dr coupe's trunk. The 4dr Civic Hatch is one of the ugliest cars made. If you want something practical buy a station wagon, why even bother with a hatch?
