Oooh, me likey.
Are you able/allowed to show on a chart how much of a pressure loss there is versus the OE one?
Also, I noticed that the endtank looks similar to the stock OE oval flange with the sharp 90deg bend, what was the reasoning for it not having smoother bends like the inlet?

Yeah, we have all that data, I will just need to sort through it and get it in a manner that presents well and is easy to read. In the meantime, you can check out this article to give you an idea of some of the testing we did. This article is on our SI but we tested both cars that day http://www.superstreetonline.com/ho...ctronics-intercooler-testing-and-development/

In regards to the outlet, the exit was not as critical since we are pushing it all through the pipe. There are no needs for fins to distribute in the pipes since it's all just going to the throttle body. The fitment on that side is a bit tighter as well with the tranny cooler and such. Changing it up would have driven cost up quite a bit as you would need all new piping as well.

Some more pics of our intercooler. This is what a production unit will look like. This one will be on display at SEMA this year. Notice the weatherstripping on top designed to make complete seal under the crash bar so all the air passes through the core.

Not yet but nothing I would say is crazy. The design is pretty unique so will likely fall in the higher end of the market.

Very nice work there! Hopefully more data to see soon. Can you tell me what's the core size? Thank you!

Very interested to see the final product and numbers. Do you have an approximate ETA on a release date and are you guys also working on the piping kit to match it? It always nice to see proper R&D in the aftermarket. Thanks!

ETA should be at the start of the new year. Thinking Jan or so. Our numbers so far have been great, we have seen the most power compared to any other core. Will have a blog update on that in the coming weeks. The core will not launch with a piping kit but that maybe something in the future. We currently do have a boost tube kit.

bar and plate again !
is it not possible to source tube & fin intercooer core in the US?

with the known overheating tendency of the car, we really need as much air flow to the radiator as possible.

But if they can produce one that does sufficient cooling who cares? The design doesn’t just hinge on the type but airflow as well.
