Though they were supposed to be on backorder for another month, my winter set showed up yesterday! Here's a sneak peek for anyone still curious about the OZ rally wheels, paired with Michelin X-Ice 3 245/40:

The Hakka R2's that I have are discontinued; Hakka R3's are about $425CAD each.
When I bought the OE FK2's, they were the only 19" option, but I wouldn't necessarily get those now - although this Brexit talk is improving the GBP:CAD exchange rate. The UK is the closest, least expensive source of those wheels. I paid either $400CAD or $500CAD each with shipping and duties, HST, etc. - can't remember which. TireRack has the Motegi MR924 and OZ Ultraleggera HLT in 19x8.5ET53, and Canadian places can get you 19x8ET53 Replika 196's for about $185CAD each. Unfortunately, while there are now 18" and 19" steel wheels available, and plenty of 18" alloy wheels, I don't know of any that are high-offset.
By any chance would you know the Honda parts number for the FK2 wheels? My dealer is going to see if he can obtain for me. Also looking at a set of 19X8.5 ET55, but would prefer the FK2s.

You won't be able to get these from a North American dealer (although maybe next year if the spy shots of the 2020's are right).
You should be able to get the 'official' 18x8 Type R winter wheels from a dealer, although these are both ugly and expensive. There are also a growing number of 18" and 19" Acura wheels (and aftermarket wheels for Acura's) that have been tested to fit, but I haven't been keeping track of which wheels clear the front brake calipers and which do not.
Thanks for posting Jen. I got mine from Tegiwa. Note that one has to make an account with the appropriate country to see the price without taxes. (VAT is built into the price shown on the website, but once one logs in with a North American address, the tax is removed from the website pricing.)

Do you winter drive yours all season? Or only on the less harsh days? I've seen some people do the later, and unfortunately I don't have that luxury and am curious if the type r can handle our winters. Thanks!

Mine is a DD, all seasons, all weathers. I just buy whatever 18s that TR says it fits and put snows on that.

Yes, but I am retired so I don't commute. I do have to drive in Ottawa-TO and back regularly though. Good tires + LSD make all the difference.

My main complaint is with the LED headlights, so not unique to the Type R. As LED's do not generate much heat, they get covered in ice in freezing rain.
