I've had mine installed for close to 9 months now. I love it!
I watched installation tutorials on Youtube before buying. Realized it's much easier to do with two people, but I live alone so I took it to a shop. They color matched it and also offered to install it for a small fee. I gave them a template I found from another member here on this forum. It basically laid out to them where the holes needed to be drilled that would be used to mount it. Took about 45 mins for them to do the install beginning to end.
For painting and install together? Great deal. If that's installation alone I would be skeptical. If you have an extra friend it's a fairly easy thing to do yourself if you want to save a few bucks.
Why not get the one that comes painted?
At the time I purchased my wing, I realized the only options that ABS had for type r spoilers came down to the cheaper unpainted wing or the much more expensive carbon fiber one. The unpainted wing was the only choice I had given my budget. I set aside about $500 total for my entire wing project. That ended up being the exact amount I needed to buy the wing + get it painted + installed.
Taillights look tight!! Working with the guys @ www.vinylmod.com to get a kit built. The bumps on the reverse light are proving to be problematic as they have to account for varying install ability of buyers.
