I understand that this product is taking more time than expected. That is okay because I want it to have the 27won quality I am accustomed to. In the meantime, I am interested in what's going on with it currently. Can you answer why it did not hit the store in the time frame previously estimated? Are you guys just delaying the release so you can manufacture enough of them to be immediately available? I am hoping it is just as simple as that and you have not run into an issue with the design or something. I can't help but to get a little nervous when silence occurs for weeks after projected release date. Any answers to the questions above would be awesome. Or a simple update would be sufficient.

Very interesting! I totally understand you having to delay the release. I am just really interested in knowing what's going on in the process, even if there is a hick up. I still like the W only logo but the full 27won performance option is actually growing on me. So I can take back my criticism on that one....

I appreciate the effort and commitment to quality from you and your team. I for one, have been holding out for this FMIC since it was first announced. It is literally the one part not on my car right now. I want to try it out so badly, but I'm willing to continue waiting as long as it's for the best.

As for the design, I like the all black with no logo or just the W logo. However, a raw finish with black W logo would be great for us California folks. FMIC's aren't illegal, but they're an excuse for the Gestapo, I mean Highway Patrol, to say "pop your hood". It's the ole "I smell weed" trick to get into your car. So please keep that in mind.

You figured out the fitment issues? Will you release a blog on how you came to your conclusion? Did you have to make any sacrifices?

Yes, we did, Don't plan to write a blog over the topic, but will write a release blog for the part. Mostly was a lot of trial and error with some 3D prints. Did not have to make any major sacrifices. Just the extra time it took to get to market.
