That's exactly what I did, except I may have blown said relay. It was working fine and then blew/replaced interior lighting and parking light fuses.

No. I was never able to find a part number. I suggest that you take it in to your dealer. But remove any light/wires before you do. Your warranty will cover the gauge replacement.
Fixing it finally covered under warranty. But they said the trunk button is also caused by gauge cluster. We’ll see...

The illumination is fixed but the trunk switch Is not part of the cluster. I had the issue before because the switch was corroded badly. They popped the door and found no bad switch so they assumed it was the cluster. Now there is issue with having to do a second diag and whether or not it’s covered. I am guessing the relay is spent. Will update

Be careful on DIY. The gauge control module needs reprogramming. I live in Brazil and had the same problem in my 2020 Civic Touring. After a deep research I found out that the dealer uses the HDS to download the data from the burnt unit and upload to the new one.

I just came back from dealer and some info doesn't match. I noticed that my odometer was showing 0 miles after they changed the modules and I asked to the technician why he didn't backed up the data from the old gauge controller. He told me that it is not possible to do. That is weird because the transfer process is stated at the HR-V service manual (as I couldn't find the Civic`s service manual for download). Anyway...the only thing that they did was to register the gauge swap in my owner's manual.
At least my lights issue was resolved.

Hey, I know this thread is old but I just wanted to say that I had the same issue as you and I had another solution to it that may work for other people. Since I was looking online and couldn't find a good straight answer I'll add this here just encase anyone else has the same problem. If your tail lights are out as well it it could be the A13 10 AMP fuse that's located under the hood of your vehicle. This is a diagram showing which fuse it is.

Hey BigKyle18, the fuse only fix the taillight issue. But the dash lights remains out. I had to swap the fuse and also the gauge control module.
