Car looks great on the Sportlines! I am about to buy a set as well.

Did you need camber arms to clear the 265/35/18 tire on the +43 offset wheels? Mine are 18x9.5 +42 and I'm wondering if I can get away without using the camber arms.

Also, how is the performance and ride of these new springs versus stock (and particularly in +R mode)? Thanks!

Thanks, I didn't need camber arms to clear the arches, I bought them to run a more aggressive setup for track.

The springs defo made a difference with body roll and handling on track, although they are noticeably stiffer.

*UPDATE*

We are now sitting on Eibach Sportline Springs! :)

Just waiting on new wheels to arrive and springs to settle so I can fit my Eibach Rear Camber Arms and hopefully not have to trim the rear fenders.

Had a rare warm day in the UK yesterday so suffered from heatsoak badly... however, this is sitting around waiting to be fitted..

Need this fitted along with Wheels and Camber Arms ready for Japfest 5th May for some cheeky track time!
Where did you get the gel plates from?

I am wanting to order a set for my 2019 Sonic Grey Sport Hatch

We did another track session at Silverstone and the car absolutely blew me away!

I was also over at Dream Automotive talking about more car parts and got my Dream Hardlagged Catless Downpipe fitted along with USR PTP Turbo Blanket:

And now the fun bit... :drive:

Went over to TDI North (one of the most reputable Honda tuners in the UK) to get some more power...

Had the KTuner V1.2 custom tuned and made some good power on 99 octane fuel:

The FK8 made about 350whp and you can defo feel the extra torque!

Next up:

  • BMSpec Splitter (sitting at Dream, waiting for fitting)
  • Koyorad Radiator
  • HKS Oil Cooler
  • Girodisc 2 Piece Disc's
  • J's Racing/Voltex Wing

Hi,

just came across this thread and realise yours is the UK spec.
Have you fitted your HKS oil cooler yet? Just wondering what did you do with the ACC radar that is blocking the way of the air flow to cooler.

The ACC radar doesn't really come in the way but I will remove my fog lights to give it extra airflow.

Photo's from a recent trackday at Bedford Autodrome in the UK.

One of the strictest tracks in the UK in terms of sound limits at 87.5db flyby but I was flat out with my HKS Legamax and Catless downpipe with no issues.

Brakes are defo at the point where they need upgrading so Girodisc will come into play and if someone could recommend me a good set of pads for track use.

Cooling was certainly an issue after 2 fast laps in the 32 degree's heat (as hot as it get's in the UK, about 90 degree's fahrenheit if you're from the states.) The oil cooler and cut grille should help here.

*Small Update*

BMSpec Front Splitter is now fitted at Dream Automotive's new premises.

Next thing to do will be to balance out the Aero with the APR Performance GT250 Rear Wing to avoid any nasty oversteer with just the front splitter alone.

Ah dream have moved from being 5 mins down the road from me to a good half hour! Still, close enough..

Saw your car at Coombe, then donnington (first on m1 when we were with that supra) thought it was perfect, so I am not 100% sure on that splitter but appreciate it's a track car first and foremost

What was the stoneleigh like one today, was going to go but it clashed?

Yeah! Dream have moved even closer to me which is nice :)

Thanks! The splitter is more function over form but I still really like how it looks. Hopefully looks better when combined with the GT wing.

Stoneleigh was pretty good although I have always found static shows a little boring.

Cool... do upload pictures of your oil cooler install if you have them.
Can I ask How much boost are you running now and how are your track temps for Oil and Water?

Yes I will do.

Not 100% sure as the ECU targets torque and not boost so it varies depending on the conditions. Normally anywhere from 22 - 27psi.

Water temps are monitored via Tunerview on the KTuner and the car doesn't have an oil temp sensor.
