Hey guys my maintenance minder has been stuck at 30% for like 4 months now. Do you guys think its stuck there and I should just get a oil change or should I just wait. I mainly do city driving cause work is only 10 mins away.

I' don't use MM, I change oil myself close to 8,000 km or 5,000 miles.
Oil is cheap and so important for engine.

Do you have any previous experience to draw from or is this a brand new car? I ask simply to have some reference. My Si takes about 8,000 miles for the MM light to get to 15%. Some folks, it might be 4,000 miles.. others, maybe as high as 10,000 miles. or, like Latole, you just go by what you always do ;) . Mine always takes quite a while to show any drop in % and then typically the last 30% or so gets used up "quickly".

I’ve not had my car long enough to notice (however it’s dropping about 10% a month so far)

My previous vehicle was a Ram 1500. And it would “stick” in the sense that it would be at like 80% for a few months then over the course of a few days drop to 50% for example.

This is my first brand new car, but my previous oil changes it would go down 10% roughly every 2-3 weeks. But for some reason this time it's stuck at 30% for a couple months now

If MM go from 100% continuously up to 30%, I do not see a problem in the software. I do not understand if you did not change your driving habits why MM is stuck at 30%.

I'm not a expert.

Who changed the oil last time? The dealer?
