2020 civic SI tire size on 17 rims

Hey guys new here but not new to the SI Will 17 inch rims fit with the calipers and discs on the 2020. I am looking to pick up a winter set. Two options put winter wheels on the stock 18. Whats your recommendation. Or get smaller rims for winter with bigger tires. Again any recommendations

Lots of threads on winter tires for Si. Yes, 17’s will fit. Running 225/50/17 is extremely close to stock 18” circumference. That’s what I’m running.

I've been researching the various options and have decided to pull the trigger on a set of 17" x 7.5" alloys with Michelin X-Ice XI-3 215/50R17. Has nearly the same diameter as the stock setup (within 0.25%) and still a decent sidewall height (4.23") to absorb some bumps on rough winter roads.

Nice I'm debating using stock wheels for winter and getting a new set of rims for summer. Decisions decisions

With 17's for winter, I recommend 215/50's on a 17x7 or 17x7.5 inch. If someone wants to downsize to 17's for year round use, performance 235/45 tires would work great on something like a 17x8 wheel. Both those sizes would keep diameter very close to stock.
