Long story short, I drove my CTR across country. I wrapped it with road warrior, and it was super tough to take off. It did an excellent job protecting the car.

However, when I pulled it off, you can see micro scratches in the black trim around the emblem and headlight on the front bumper. Can someone recommend a product that can get these scratches out?

I just waxed the car, and the paint is pristine. However, this part of the bumper looks terrible in the sun. Thanks!

Rubbing/polishing compound and elbow grease. I use a product called “liquid ebony” but it’s not available anymore.

macquires scratchx with careful application should do it - you're looking for a very high / fine grit polishing compound to take off that top layer.

Imo I'd just leave it instead of obsessing about it, as my rule of thumb = anything you can't see from 10 feet away with normal light doesn't matter

But if you're upset about it - that's one way to address it

The piano black trim is savage for the scratches and swirls, you could machine polish it out, take a look at this vid: yes it's the b pillars but it's the same thing

I personally use poor boys purple haze with elbow grease, as napalm says always gonna have swirls here so sometimes u just need to make it as good as u can and crack on

I would try ScratchX or Polish from Meguiar's. Both are pretty light cutting so it might be just enough to take the scratches down.

Regardless of what you use, just remember that you can take away but you can't put back so be careful about it and don't make a bigger mess by accident.

I think machine polishing would be the way to go

Is it difficult to replace those trim pieces? Piano black trim is a PITA and I would think replacement would be the easiest (though not the most cost-effective way) to eliminate scratches
