Definitely would rather wait and spend the money.

today I tried wireless AA with a new look
the steering wheel buttons work to skip tracks in spotify
however, the wired connection is faster because you must open the AA app and manually Start head unit server
turn on hotspot (this can be automated using the app when connected to BT)
on the Connect turn on wifi mode in headunit reloaded app

I got it working too, but Waze crashes it kinda quickly. I'll have to work on it later. I had enough Google Reward survey credits to pay for the app, so it was essentially free.

I rented a 2019 Ford F-150 the AA connection was solid. Maybe 10% of the time my Si doesn't connect. properly.
