Hey, I just arriwed on this forum. Im from România,it seems that eastern and western auto quality îs The same, iven i always thought that there s a lower quality for East.I have the same buzzing and rattleing sounds. The rattle comes from the heat unit at the left foot/passanger. The buzz comes when accelerating, from behind the glowbox for sure 100%.anyone knows whats behind that glowbox, small electric engine parts, etc?

Hi. My 2017 civic makes a buzzing noise when accelerating above 1500rpm. If I lift the gas pedal, it goes away. It happens when the engine is cold. Any idea? I can't upload the sound on this site to show you guys.

It’s definitely more prominent when the engine is cold. I was wondering if it was some sort of feedback coming from center speaker.

So did the dealer hear the noise and did not know how to fix it?

Since you mentioned this is the last rattle you are hunting down, I wonder what are the other rattles you have fixed so far...

I have had this issue since day 1 of buying the car new with 7 miles on it.
Buzzing noise when engine is cold/hot/drove for 45 min/ac on/acoff everything. I am a noob and I am starting to think it was the turbo or even exhaust drone, but after reading through this whole forum thread, I am thinking its not that and that there is another more complicated cause.
Could it simply be the sound of the air intake filter? I noticed in my last car when I installed a short ram intake, that when parked in neutral and hit the throttle that it wasn't loud, but when driving it was so much louder and that is because the engine is reving up while opening the throttle body and you can hear the engine combustion.
So with this buzzing, the sound only occurs when accelerating because the air is being sucked in and causing the filter mesh or border to rattle? I haven't checked this but it's another guess.

they heard the noise and told me its most likely your cold air intake, and said for me to return to stock and bring it back in so i could pay them to look at it some more.

At first I believed this buzzing noise to be my mishimoto catch can I installed, but I now believe it is a loose clip along the fuel line somewhere, or the windshield washer fluid nozzles on the underside of the hood.

I was just experiencing the same sound. Bought my Type R new around Mid March (2020), I have about 525 mile on it, and just started hearing this noise over the past week. It was bugging the heck out of me. Today, I was hearing it a bit at idle while parked, so I popped the hood. I'm almost positive that it's coming from the Pump Assembly Vacuum (36300-RPY-G013-M3). I could feel the ticking noise (with my hand on the surface plate) that gets obnoxiously worse as you accelerate. It's the part with the label on it starting with MAGNA. I'll have to take it in and see what the dealer says.

Interested to hear what you find out. Do you have any modifications done? Looks like the charge pipe is wrapped.
