i have the same issue, and the dealer told me they thought it was my CAI. i explained its been happening since before that was installedGot the same problem i already went to the dealership about that problem and they can’t find out what’s the cause of that
It’s definitely more prominent when the engine is cold. I was wondering if it was some sort of feedback coming from center speaker.Hi. My 2017 civic makes a buzzing noise when accelerating above 1500rpm. If I lift the gas pedal, it goes away. It happens when the engine is cold. Any idea? I can't upload the sound on this site to show you guys.
Yes. It sounds like coming from the console or hood. It’s definitely more prominent when the engine is cold. I was wondering if it was some sort of feedback coming from center speaker.
So did the dealer hear the noise and did not know how to fix it?we will ever find what is causing this buzzing, its super annoying i can hear it all the time when pressing down on the accelerator......let off and it goes away.....dealer is no help as expected.
they heard the noise and told me its most likely your cold air intake, and said for me to return to stock and bring it back in so i could pay them to look at it some more.So did the dealer hear the noise and did not know how to fix it?
Interested to hear what you find out. Do you have any modifications done? Looks like the charge pipe is wrapped.I was just experiencing the same sound. Bought my Type R new around Mid March (2020), I have about 525 mile on it, and just started hearing this noise over the past week. It was bugging the heck out of me. Today, I was hearing it a bit at idle while parked, so I popped the hood. I'm almost positive that it's coming from the Pump Assembly Vacuum (36300-RPY-G013-M3). I could feel the ticking noise (with my hand on the surface plate) that gets obnoxiously worse as you accelerate. It's the part with the label on it starting with MAGNA. I'll have to take it in and see what the dealer says.
