They are building massive overhead into the wheel torque numbers. There was another exchange with @LilToTo17 that he shared on FB where Bill said they were assuming something like 25% drivetrain loss and then another 20-30% in safety overhead (on top of drivetrain loss). Anyway, I'm hoping for good things still, but won't be the first person putting one on my car. Ideal would be the ability to do a full-faced organic disk (for daily driveability) and have that hold a stage 1 tune. But even 325 clutch torque would be something pretty close to 280 wheel torque.Which he also said is all a guess and they won't know until people have them in their cars. For a product that took so much time to get to market, you'd think they would have the R&D and testing done already. Considering the numbers he gave you and the numbers he gave me were different, it just seems like he's tossing numbers in the wind. I'll probably still end up getting the stage 2, but I've not been real impressed with the info coming out.
