I've been running around the forum trying to figure out what wheels I'd like to throw on my car. Not extremely knowledgeable on this subject and didn't realize how many fitment possibilities there are for wheels and tires. I think I have it narrowed down

The esr wheels are what really caught my eye and got me thinking about swapping out the OEM wheels.

After seeing how most 9.5x35mm look pretty thick.. I think I might favor the enkei I have picked out I just haven't seen many with that fitment.

Anyone sitting on 18x8.5 45mm ?

I would go with Enkei. You can never go wrong with them. Much stronger and lighter wheel.

Yeah dude. Enkei over esr all day! I almost went with the TM-7 myself but ended up going TS-10. I think they are about the same price. It was a difficult choice to make. I did 18/9.5/35 offset. With stock suspension I don't rub at all! Make sure to post pics after install.

Is this really something somebody actually asked?
China Vs. Japan, I think I'm going to go with Japan.

You can browse through the Fitment Industries gallery, and see if any other Honda owners are running those wheels and sizes.

The Enkei US site does not give information about wheel face type, etc, while Enkei Japan's site does...HOWEVER, the TM7 is not showing up there.
From what I can see, the TM7 is, overall, a F-Face type wheel (e.g. flat face / spoke), but with certain styles and size + offset combinations, you can get a R-Face (e.g. concave) look.

Personally, I'd recommend the Enkei wheels as well.
You should have plenty of space with +45 or +35 offset. 8.5" and 9" should have no problems at all -- 9.5" should clear as well.

Just keep in mind, you will need to get a set of hub rings, as the Civic uses a 64.1mm center core, while the Eneki TM7 is 72.6mm.

IMO, consider 1-upping the tire size as well.
245/40/18 or 255/35/18, especially if you decide to go with 9"+ wide wheel.

I'm running a set of Enkei PF07 18x9 +40 on 245/40/18 FireHawk Indy 500's.

Enkei is obviously a way better known brand, but i've been running ESR wheels for over a year now and they still look like they did when they were brand new. Quality is there for sure and their wheels look great. But i'd still pick enkei over ESR given the choice, I just went with ESR for the looks mostly.

From the screenshot, ESR is forged whereas Enkei is MAT. In general, forged is lighter. Additionally, ESR is 4 spokes less than Enkei, I want to say ESR wheel should be lighter (as both spoke size look fairly close). This reduced upsrung weight and also reduced the rotational force. Overall, the acceleration is slightly faster/(‘lighter’ is a sense) as compared with heavier wheel. Also, save fuel as well.

Edit: provided the same wheel size and same tire size is being used.

So you think I'd be better off with 245 tires on 8.5 instead of 235?

Good looking on the hub rings I had no idea. I thought if the bolt pattern was the same they would work?

Let's see some pics of those TS-10's! I'm considering those and the TSR's.
