I've had nothing but problems at that dealership. The only reason I went there is they deal directly with the insurance company I bought my wheel/tire protection from. :-\

Installed the Mugen visors. The fronts have a little rubber lip I think to prevent water from entering. Neat idea I guess

Installed mine two days ago also. I was dubitative about the looks because in some pictures all the visors look like a glued mass not flowing nicely with the curves of the door/window/roof, but I have to say that the Mugen ones matches with the Polished Grey very well. I think the Honda ones being darker wouldn't flow as good as the Mugens.

This morning I found that the wiper's water spray concentrates on the front edge of the visor, and with the speed it splashes on the window at the mirror height, blocking the view for a while. I expect this behavior is not replicated when it rains, considering the water flow comes from several directions and not only from the A-pillar edge.

I'm also trying to disguise the utility of the rubber lip, because right now for me it is like a floating line in the middle of the window that can end up being a distraction at some point (thinking it is something coming towards you and the like).

Took it for it's second annual PA inspection/emissions testing. Passed without issue. Only thing noted was one of my sidemarker lights was out and they replaced it.

Front brakes are at 8/32 and rear at 7/32 along with the current tires around the same (Michelin Pilot Sport 4s)... both good to hear!

Yeah, I was never a fan of visors, but it's so hot down here in Florida it's nice to be able to vent the windows while I'm in class lol. I feel like the floating line is something I'll get used to but I think you can remove it all together. I don't think it really does anything honestly

To be honest I think it made the wind noise louder. But that might just be because I was paying super close attention to it after the install. I got them from evasive motorsports. they just got a shipment in so you might not have to wait a few weeks like I did!

Did some prep work to install the Radium Dual Oil Catch Cans. It’s too bad the hose barbs don’t come pre-assembled... you need to install to the rubber hoses yourself, which could be difficult if not mechanically inclined.

Radium’s instructions say it takes a lot of force. Someone posted a terrific install video but I saw he wasn’t able get the hoses all the way down on the barbs.

Sharing how to make a hard job very easy. This can be used on any install that requires installing a rubber hose to a fitting.

To do this you need:
a bench vise
a heat gun
Gloves
Kroil or any other lubricant.

First place the fitting in the vice, with a softener so it does not mar. Tighten it... but not too tight to warp it. Spray barbs with aerokroil

Now use the heat gun to heat the end of the rubber hose you want to install. It’s a good idea to heat a little extra beyond just the depth the fitting barb will engage. Apply heat for about 1-2 minutes evenly around the hose...

Like this. Heat makes the rubber expand and become pliable. Can heat longer if like, just don’t make it melt or smoke.

Now shove the warmed up hose onto the barb. Be sure to wear gloves so you don’t burn your hands. Slides on like butter.

Perfect. Hose is fully engaged. No gap.

lol so much effort. All I did was use a tiny bit of motor oil and push it on by hand. Took me about a minute

I used to assemble hoses and barbs for 3/4” and 1” hoses and it was always a pain, even with lube, until I wised up and started using the heat gun.

Maybe for this smaller 5/8” stuff it may not be needed. I just assumed, especially after they couldn’t get it all the way seated on YouTube video. Still was super easy this way.

I think it's just a different technique. Maybe a little more effort but it allows for a better seal.

maybe? I doubt anything significant in terms of seal. Maybe I just got lucky when I muscled it on lol
