Looks like:

1) You need stickers.
2) I think you owe some money.

" I lost them or didn't get them cause I don't check my mail".. This is an "adulting" fail. Become more aware of what you are responsible for and less reliant on others for your success (yes, I typed that on my Scopesys keyboard ;) )

You can try and fight the tickets, but remarks on both tickets show the additional information as to why you were ticketed. The computer only has so many choices. The cop chose the closest and made it more accurate using the remarks area.
OMG .. has my computer been HACKED ??? :coffee:

No it's not the cop's job to make the law more accurate (than the statute, I guess )

If it's not in the law (that lack of stickers is subject to a fine and how much exactly) then you can't get a ticket for it. Lack of stickers is not equivalent to unregistered car and not even to invalid license plate. Yes, you are required to display current stickers, but the law doesn't necessarily provide the penalty in case you don't. Being pulled over is usually enough penalty for most people to avoid this situation. Cops are sometimes dumb, and give tickets for breaking nonexisting laws.

I once helped my Chinese friend erase the ticket for driving without license, which is a misdemeanor. He got pulled over by the Chief of City Police himself. The ticket was unlawful. I had to look at the law, and it took a call to the local District Attorney (an elected position). The ticket and record was erased. This Chief of Police was fired just about a year later, for the sum total of his achievements.

I have a friend whose momā€™s 4door a6 Bland vanilla Audi had sticker over 3 years expired. Of course obviously the registration was valid or else if you do get pulled over, theyā€™ll impound your car. But she never got pulled over or had any tickets.

This is typical cop bullshit with nothing better to do. Having driven ā€œsportyā€ type cars most of my life, I can honestly say that this type of shit is not isolated. Fight both tickets although you are likely to have to take off work or school or something. So you fight the tickets based on principles but you lose anyways cause you waste time on this crap.

Itā€™s no win for you. You either lost money or time...

I did go ahead and read those codes aand I didnā€™t see nothing about stickers mostly about not having a valid registered plate (in this case I have my registration validation certificate in which the person even wrote they didnā€™t see the extension of the registration) or having someone elseā€™s plate on my car ... also Iā€™m sure since Iā€™ve been parking in the same spot this week before yesterday that person mustā€™ve seen my car and decided yesterday to give me a ticket .. we have a door camera and at that same exact time a white sub pulled up coming from the side the front of my car faces . So Iā€™m sure he straight up just choose to come ticket me .

Like literally endless police have been behind my car in traffic and red lights literry never got stopped .. Iā€™m not sure if theyā€™re able to see info on if the registration is up to date but no one ever pulled me over

Okay so as far as the first ticket I can show proof of me having the registration certificate since that code talks about me having and unregistered car .. ignoring that remarks area they went ahead to be more specific on something that is not on the codes thing.. sure plus it states if the car is unregistered Iā€™d have to pay 60 but he put me for 100.

I think this person sniped me or had been keeping an eye on my car for atleast 2 days since Iā€™ve parked in the same spot ... that man was prob like ā€œohhhh Iā€™ve been waiting my entire life for this moment ā€. ever since taking my car out the garage itā€™s just bad luck.
That sucks!

*Hoping* I have the right link...if I do, it's only a $5 fee for a substitute sticker from the MVA - https://securetransactions.mva.maryland.gov/emvastore/(S(rdnata0uz3vkfrlgngvmwcjh))/MustHave2.aspx

Having grown up in PG, they've got bigger fish to fry, but they need dat sweet $$$ too. You were probably targeted, but legally.

Yea we have a security system at home it shows the ticket person just come from the opposite (Front side of my car) of the street and they literally parked on the opposite side of the street from my car too so they had already been keeping an eye out on my car .. no itā€™s just in the garage.. appreciate the link but I already paid for the new stickers on Saturday still havenā€™t received them tho. Been told my parents that if I had been paying attention I wouldā€™ve been paying 5 an not 155 if I had done this sooner.

Pay your damn tickets, pay a duplicate registration fee and get a new sticker and let this be a fairly cheap lesson that driving on public roads is a privilege, not a right.

Just because you can't or won't keep up with your responsibilities doesn't mean you don't have them. Be a fucking adult, dude.

already done . Why would I get a duplicate Registration when I already have always had the good one till March 2020??? Sticker has been ordered and I know itā€™s a privilege I didnā€™t say I didnā€™t deserve the tickets all I was asking for was if I couldā€™ve done something about it other than paying the 100 dollar one since I have the good registration which the ticket person didnā€™t see .. i know I gotta pay the 50 dollar one since obviously I didnā€™t have the sticker displayed.
