ive been lurking on this forums for months- REALLLYYYY tried to stop myself from tuning my car ( warranty reasons ) but today; i pre much just said " F it " when i ordered :headbang: I miss the feeling of being excited whenever i get in this car - ( this is my first car with turbo ) the only time i had fun is the first 3 months and just slowly got sick of it. HOPEFULLY this will make it enjoyable again :drive:

now- once i get it; i am planning to do the dual tune- BUT i dont know much about tuning and all that; and i am seriously confused with STAGE tune and STARTER tune. and whats going to be the maximum ( safe ) map choice? thankyou!

they are all safe

stage 2 is blocked or almost
the dual can be modified

start with stage 2, and enjoy, then try the dual in the various settings and enjoy

the only thing that doesn't appeal to me is to disable the rev hang

when you're tired, pay 79 dollars a tsp and enjoy with their melody, it's much more refined

in short ..... there is much to enjoy

advice, remember to use the low gears, 5 & 6 use them only for rest,
if you sink, remember that you are at least above 2500 rpm

and use premium fuel, don't be a louse, in Europe the premium petrol we pay you from 1.3 euros to 2 euros liter, liter not gallon, you're lucky

you cant tweak stage 2 right? will i still be able to disable rev hang?
You have a CVT. Rev hang is something you won't experience.

If you mean lag, I highly recommend using the Starter 21 as opposed to the Stage 2. The Starter tunes give you the ability to "fine tune" driveability. For example, you can create a more punchy low end (with less lag) using spool, throttle and turbo response tweaks. You also get more features like on the fly map switching and advanced VSA.

You'll love the KTuner and you will be grinning ear to ear the first time you put the gas pedal to the floor.

Of course, you can also keep it simple and just load Stage 2 as a member suggested above. Just keep in mind JR (Ktuner founder) calls the stage tunes "legacy tunes" because they are limited feature-wise and are no longer updated.

sorry- yes i meant lag.
im kind of hesitating when it comes to "tweaking" because i really dont know much about tunes and im scared i will be pushing it too hard lol.

i have a v1.2 ( with hondahack ; planing to download tunerview soon ) will i be able to save more than 1 tune? ive been thinking of doing an ( agressive - kind of agressive - cruising ) setup. and I have seen your setup on osme other thread you posted- i was planning to just copy it lol is there anything you recommend?

Yes! you can, in the quick adjustments it still allows you to personalize the tune a little bit.

Starting out, just try Stage 2. After a while if you decide you want different "feel" to the tune, try the Starter 21 dual with all it's adjustability.

In the meantime, feel free to read my KTuner review/journal thread and posts by other members as well as the KTuner help pages.
yeah- i will do that! enjoy it while it last- then ill start trying out different ones when im starting to get bored of it ( most likely wont  ) thanks gtman!
