Do you consider the Civic Hatchback(not Type R) to be a hot hatch?

As a Sport Hatch owner, I definitely cast my vote for “Regular”. I absolutely love it in the 6MT, but I can’t call it hot when the Si and Type R sit atop

Its not a hot hatch. But the regular civic hatchbacks are a nice fucking car man.

I drove one way before I bought my Type R and came away impressed. I drove it in MT, I don’t appreciate CVTs.

Unfortunately, I think any FWD without an LSD is severely crippled. Honda should’ve made at least three sort own an LSD. Great car nonetheless. A Honda that will last years.

I say yes it's a hot hatch, especially the Hatchback Sport in Sonic Gray. People can list what it doesn't have but it has a lot compared to the average economy hatchback.

Do you call a regular focus hatch a hot hatch? No. It's just a hatchback.

The only current Honda hot hatch is the Type R. Everything else is just a regular hatch. And that's how I want my insurance company to see it, too.

Agree Not A Hot Hatch but a Warm Hatch YES!

It’s a warm hatch, sort of like the Elantra GT N-Line. It’s tuned for sportiness but it’s not compromising much outside the regular models.
