Hey CivicX,
FYI - I do not own a CivicX but I have been following this community
I was replying earlier to a thread about the Tein Flex Z and I just remembered that I did a CTS-V Swap on my previous car. I was wondering if it would be possible on the CivicX platform?
I've seen people getting brembo or Type R calipers on their Civics (I don't know how much it was and I didn't do too much research on it)
I did see that from this site:
https://www.kseriesparts.com/brake-calipers/
The Type R brembo calipers are about 600 bucks for both sides of the front.
Compared to almost less than 300 dollars for the GM Brembo Calipers that are used in Corvettes and Camaro SS'
I thought I'd share this as another possible budget option for the community and see what we all can come up with:
Driver Caliper- AC Delco- 172-2777
GM- 84089034
https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-172-2777-Original-Equipment-Assembly/dp/B01K8BW1YS - 145 Bucks (As of 7/9)
Passenger Caliper- AC Delco- 172-2768
GM- 84089035
https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-172-2768-Original-Equipment-Passenger/dp/B01K8BWCUG - 128 Bucks (As of 7/9)
Front Disc Brake Caliper Kit -
ACDelco 18K1971X Professional Front Disc Brake Caliper Hardware Kit with Clips and Pins
https://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-18K1971X-Professional-Caliper-Hardware/dp/B004A5151E - 23 dollars
145 + 128 + 23 = 296 before brake pads, rotors, SS lines, and taxes.
This site makes a kit for other platforms

I don't know what all needs to happen to make this fit (Spacers, special bolts/brackets) other than proper wheel fitment, I do know that if we make this possible we just need to run Camaro SS or Corvette brake pads for the front. If someone were to figure this out or maybe it just fits normally who knows, this would be a great budget option for all of us. Let me know what yall think
