It's pretty easy to tell a Sport from an Si (and by the way, an Si still has a 1.5...just a less restrictive turbo, at least on the '18s) if you look at the spoiler. The Sport, if it even HAS a spoiler, has a much lower one and the Si ALWAYS has a spoiler.

Honda Civic 10th gen Civic Sport (Sedan/Coupe) are everywhere! 67746851_398307194126954_677882591067504640_n

Yeah, I kind of wish Honda would leave the unique SI features on just...SI's.

Hate getting fooled as well. The number of actual SI's I see? Very, very small.

You are not wrong.
And the look works better in the original larger size on the SI.

They really are everywhere. I like it though, it's better eye candy than the other sedans with funky oem wheels, chrome grille, and invisible exhaust tips. But not having the option of 1.5T is :(

If you go back to 1982 the Camaro sport coupe came with a 2.5 iron duke four cylinder a friend had one it wasn’t very sporty but you’re right it should have the 1.5 t

It sounds like you're thinking the Sport sedan and coupe come with the base 1.5 turbo. They don't. They only have the 158hp NA 2.0 ...

Man Honda must be making a killing on these! I swear I see at least 5 or more Civic Sport Sedans everyday I venture out. These seem to be selling pretty astonishingly well. Honda is genius, steal the Civic Si look, give it some good tech (Apple Carplay/Android Auto), and add a badge that says "Sport" without spending much more money because the car is basically a parts bin, and we'll rake in the $. So far it seems to be working seamlessly, and man they look good!
I seriously think I bought the first one in Denver metro area. Coming up on a year and haven't seen one other sport on the road. I'm sure they're out there but kind of crazy.

I see them from time to time.
As I said in plenty of threads I dislike sharing the same wheels design on the sport hatches and sport sedans/coupes. Whatever Honda wanted to make them different when it comes to shade the Si get the brighter brushed aluminum and the sports get the black chrome ones.
The sport sedan/coupe has thicker sway bar and a better dampening then the LX, so I would say that it is not a bad car. Maybe a poor mans auto x car.
Si = poor mans Type R
Sports = poor mans Si
EX = baller commuter
LX = poor mans EX commuter
Coupe = mentally needs help in any trim lol
lol
I am just playing here.
Car drives great handles great coming up on a year having mine. Getting 35MPG in the city. 39 on the highway

I'm a Sport owner but so far the only sports I'm seeing are fellow hatchbackers. I've seen very few '19 coupe/sedan sports but I'm sure that will change. Anyway, the best part about the Sports are the paddle shifters. Yeah the fake gear simulations can suck but it's so nice being able to hold the revs @ 2-4k while using very little throttle. It simply can't be done in 'D' mode. Makes it feel much more like a manual yet with all the convenience of an automatic. Any other sport owner almost exclusively use their paddles?

As a guy who daily drives a 500 whp car, I still find the 2.0 Civic to be a fun ride. You know that saying, "its more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow" lol. The sports look good and Honda knows how to make even an economy car engaging, I would have bought the sport if it had existed when I was buying my EX.
I hear you. I traded in a 2014 428i for my 2019 Civic Sport Touring HB, so I'm still readjusting my expectations of my own limits as far as acceleration and passing ability, etc, but I really do love the Civic!
