This may have changed from when I was going to a few different dealers last month to buy my Si, but a few of them had Type Rs and I didn't see any stickers that indicated a markup. Just checked on a car listing site and the dealers I went to show as having them still (or different ones) listed at MSRP.

I ended up buying my Si from Performance Honda and they currently have a type r listed at MSRP so may be worth checking if your still looking.

castrucci in Dayton just got an agean blue pearl in....they offered me msrp

if it was a rallye red one i missed it by couple days, they have a CW right now but asking way too much 40+

Honda Marysville has been selling Type R’s for sticker, if they don’t have one, or your color, they have a list they will add your name to. They replaced my ac condenser under warranty, and were great to work with, ask for Chris if you need service.

I bought my red Type R at the end of July from Performance Honda in Fairfield, OH, just north of Cincy, for MSRP ($36.6K).. I think it helped that I bought it at the end of the month when the dealership was trying to make quotas. Just a guess. Also speculate that it helped that it was red, which was my least favorite color so maybe harder to sell? The color has grown on me-and I never have had a car that got more compliments.

Maybe a long shot but would any of the local to Cincinnati (or willing to drive to Cincinnati) Type R owners be up for some pictures? I've been wanting to shoot a Type R but have yet to run into any local owners.

For reference of the type of shots I take, Here is one of my Si I took shortly after getting it.

Don’t know how I have missed the regional forums all this time. Bought the car May 5th and loving it ever since. Added PRL High Volume intake and Moddiction Anvil 2 shift knob so far.
