I’m very aware of that, thank you though. We’re gonna try and piggy back off the ECU (yes I know the stock ECU doesn’t read pressure) my tuner has a couple ideas (I trust him with my car I’ve seen the work he does he knows what he’s doing) well beyond my level of understanding. If that doesn’t work we’re going to try an entirely new ECU. I don’t want to go this route for the simple fact of it’ll be stupid expensive. My end goal ultimately is to do this build and record it along the way and make a turbo kit anyone can buy and bolt on. Problem is, no one has done it before so I’m treading in unknown waters. Our current biggest hurdle is engine management, if you have ANY ideas please share them! Just so everyone is aware, the turbo will only be only 5bls and under NO LOAD until we’re able to see it on the ECU and are able to map it.
I'm curious to see how it's done as well since I own the K20C2 engine as well. Going to a stand alone ECU like MoTec would be a lot of $$$$ which I can't afford for what gain I would get. I would rather do an engine and tranny swap at that point. How many pounds of boost do you plan on running? I heard that you upgraded your rods and pistons so I'm curious to see what the engine can handle now that the internals have been upgraded to handle the power.

Furthermore, what are you doing about fueling? More air means more fuel and I'm wondering if you'll max out your fuel flow and need to upgrade the pump and injectors for larger amounts of fuel.

Lastly do you plan on running flex fuel like a lot of people do for the 1.5T? I've been trying to research if it's feasible to even use flex fuel with our engines let alone with a turbocharger.

I wonder if you can use the MAF to assist you in the tuning challenge or try to use some of the software from the KTuner on the Type R.

Good luck!

For you guys with Ktuner on the 2.0
Does the VTEC engage on every gear now?
Plz tell me it does, and I’m getting it today.

Thanks for that. It’s annoying when it only engages when it wants too.
I hear ya! Also, if you are getting the V2, you can program an LED light to come on when the VTEC engages. I'm sure there is also a way if you have the V1 and are using TunerView.

I’m new to Ktuner world. Is tuner view an app?
I’ll prob get 1.2

I have the 6MT with Ktuner. My gas mileage went down to 27MPG.
Yeah, mine too if I drive spirited.
I can still average 31 in the city if I back off a little.
Also, we both went from 16in wheels to 18in, which drops the MPG's and CVT's get better mileage anyway you slice it.
