Anyone notice this? My loaner Sport sedan driver's seat doesn't go back as far as the one in my hatchback Sport. I'd say it's at least an inch, maybe two. I couldn't make it go to the position I normally use.

Is this why the sedan has spec'd more rear legroom than the hatchback?

Holy crap, what are you, 7'5" that you need to sit max distance from the steering wheel?

My knee gets sore if my thigh isn't resting in the seat, or if it's bent to the right. My hatch seat isn't all the way back but there's definitely like 2-3" more leeway in the hatchback seat.

I've read magazine reviews on some cars where they mention the seats lack thigh support. And I find that to be true with a lot of vehicles, especially small ones. Power seats help alieviate the problem to some degree because you can adjust the tilt of the seat cushion. Except for power passenger seats on Hondas which do not have a height or tilt function, only forward & backward.

Yeah, I discovered recently that my knee problems were greatly improved by moving the seat back about an inch and a half. Experts say you should have a vertical seating position and that's where I'm at now. Also my butt doesn't get sore after 3 hours like it does in most cars. It's not idea - tilt seat would be awesome, but it's a lot better now.

It's just odd that the hatchback seat goes way back, so far I couldn't drive it, but the sedan, at least my loaner Sport, doesn't go back nearly as far. Not sure why the difference.

I'm not tall (5'11") and I don't have any back or leg, knee or foot conditions or aches.

But I always set the seat far to the back and the steering wheel all the way in. To the max in many cars. I'm amazed at how close to the steering wheel some people like to drive. I feel claustrophobic with elbows hitting my ribs when I get in my wife's car, and she is not shorter than me. I guess I have relatively long arms, but the main thing is that when I drive I just like the arms and legs straighter than most people.

If the seat doesn't go back far enough, I don't buy the car. The hb amazed me, because the max extension back of the seat was a bit to far even for me, and I can be still comfortable even with an average-sized passenger behind me.
