To each their own. Best of luck fellas! I on the other hand just got my 19 and absolutely love the car. It's a blast to drive. Even though I should be in a more mature sedan type vehicle myself

Going to a car that's 9 yrs. old, doesn't make sense to me.
If you drive it, within the first one second it would make 1000 percent perfect sense. Nothing about it has changed much except the tech and styling. Plus why pay $40k for it brand new when I can let someone else break it in for me and pay only $19k? It's a Lexus, it's going to last me at least another 15 years. Anyway, that's all I'm going to say on the matter

Enjoy your new ride... wishing you all the best. I'd love to hear a long-term comparo once you've got a lot of seat time in the Acura. There's been a few others that went that route. As I understood, it was a very gussied up 9th gen chassis with the old K24Z7 refreshed for direct injection.

I wanted a less expensive Accord tbh, but no CVT or turbo.

This was there and checked all the boxes

Just picked up a new 2019 Toyota Corolla hatchback XSE this week, myself. Although it can’t handle or is as quick as the Si, it’s a overall better car in quality and looks inside and out, I think. It’s also a pleasure to drive and not have to worry about the jerky 1st to second shift and awful rev hang. Only negative about it is no available sunroof, but I’ll hopefully get used to that.
Still have the Si, but I may sell it, as it’s becoming a pain in the ass to own for a whole host of reasons
Congrats on the Corolla. Toyota definitely went the right direction. The only criticism I have is the fake exhaust tips on hatch, not a big deal I could live with them though

I've heard they're really great cars. Outside the powertrain, I'm mostly interested how they are as a car... their ride... creature comforts... etc. I know the RSX blew away a 7th gen Civic at the time. I havent looked at an Acura since other than a TL SH-AWD but could never track down a manual.

Don't worry bro, more people are joining the community then leaving. Only a handful have left. When I put some of my stuff for sell I got like 20 messages, mostly people who joined in the last month

It's funny I really don't care how fast this is......I just don't like CVTs because they feel weird.

Wanted a easy to drive comfy commuter more or less.
