I'm wanting a black hood scoop and I figured the easiest way would be to order a scoop for a black Type R and just replace mine. Anyone done this or know the exact parts to order?

Why not just wrap? It's a relatively small piece.

Might as well go with the side mirrors too, OP. And the roof if you have the funds lol. Though I hear the roof isn't its own piece...

The gasket around my hood scoop is not even. So I wanted the dealership to just unbolt it and rebolt it and straighten out the seal. But they ordered a new hood scoop. But they said that they aren't sure that the gasket comes with the new hood scoop and they couldn't find the part to order by itself. They said if my gasket is already pushed down that it might be hard to straighten back out. But to me it sounds like they don't know what they're talking about. What was your experience in changing out your hood scoop as far as getting that seal straight all the way around?
