Sometimes its best to take it apart again & plugging it back in. Just re did my coilovers & the preload tightened the end links good. Noise went away just need an alignment

yes, didnt do it on my d2 but now on my eibachs. even in the rear something bumps now. i didnt cut the rear bumps though. seems i gotta. im gonna cut the rears, get some large and medium silencers, and replace the front endlinks. smh i should know better. EVERYTIME i touch a suspension its SOMETHING.

do you have a link? are they any better than the stock? damn car is only a year old.

Moog k750865

I am lowered on ktuned spring which I believed is same as the prokit for the SI. There’s little noise right after lowering, and the noise got worse over a week or so, then I swapped the endlinks out with the moog. And I grease every plastic and rubber parts that come in contact with metal. the joint on the moog is so so so much tighter, and the whole thing is beefier. My rear never made a noise and I didn’t cut the rear bump stop.

Originally my preload was tight so i took it apart & re did it over. I tightened down the end links again. With that being done the clunking went away / i bearly hear it now.

Is the problem solved? Mine is making this noise now after installing eibach pro kit, the mechanic told me that my stabilizer link was worn out. And the end of it was moving like crazy, can even move it with my pinky.

Will have to replace mine soon

Spring is binding. I have same noise.
yep.. thats what it is... Mined started to do it more and more... I think it has to do with bad top hat bearing... I am sure they are plastic and they are gone since I have 50k

My car did the same thing. It's the CV joint/drive shaft. There may be an issue with the civic's driver side driveshafts because this is a problem that keeps coming up. I got it fixed under warranty by dealer

The noise only happens when going slow and turning means its the CV joint/driveshaft.

Anyone figure this out

do you know what part of it is bad?
It has just become worn out or broken. This can be because of hard driving, manufacturer error (which is what it's looking like - check out my post about CV joint/driveshaft recall), etc.

I have similar issue, but I don't hear it so much on going on speed bumps or anything, mostly going on an incline. But I do hear it when turning up my driveway, and my wheel goes over the front gate track. I swapped out my stock suspension with a new set of coilovers, and I still hear the clunking/popping noise . I was hoping it was that my front driver's strut was messed up, but I guess it wasn't.
1. I noticed it only occurs when the car is in gear, I've heard it from from 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear, but 1st gear is more noticeable. I've tired neutraling it with enough momentum uphill to see if I hear any of the sounds, but I didn't.
2. It usually occurs when going up hills or sidewalk entrances where there's a slight inclination and unevenness. I was going up a windy road up hill in 3rd gear and heard it.
3. Usually only occurs when car is turning. I've heard it when I was going straight up a hill after centering my steering wheel when turning, but was in 1st gear.
4. Easier to reproduce when letting off the clutch (about half way) at the same time as turning and going uphill.

I plan to take it to the dealer before my warranty expires, noise seem to be progressively more noticeable over the years. Just hope they don't make a big deal about having coilovers and think that's the problem because it was an issue before swapping out the suspension.
Having the exact same issue. Havent found one person who described it this spot on. Did you ever fix it man?? No noises on bumps or driving hard - but that slow turn from right to center going up an incline causes it for me. Let me know if you ever figured it out or your just dealing with it.
