Changing out the chrome grill with the black one was definitely the way to go! I think it just gives the car a much more aggressive look. I'm also not a fan of the over-use of the Type R emblem. I just know that I want something unique.
Definitely. The chrome one showed much more imperfections as well. Didn't look good caked with rock and bug dings (as much as I tried to keep it clean). Same. You might consider looking at the chrome-delete post on this forum as well. I just finished mine like a week ago and it looks so great

I used VHT Nite Shades and did two coats to smoke the stock ambers. They're practically black until hit with light or the lights are on, then they show amber. A good cheap option that still meets legal requirements.

You in Eugene? I love going down there lol

I was thinkin the opposite, I felt like the smoked would look cleaner on my Cosmic Blue ex-t. And the led would ideally be bright enough to prevent legal trouble.
Car looks good dude. lol PNW! Salem, your like an hour north of me.

Oh nice man! I'm going on my third year now. Oregon is pretty cool... I'm liking it more than Arizona:D
