Hey everyone, I did a search but could find exactly what I was looking for, so I figured I would go ahead and post up what I have so far. I just recently had my car street tuned and then fine tuned on the dyno. I'm currently running Injen CAI, Injen intercooler with piping, MAPerformance turbo back exhaust, Ktuner v2 with stock turbo on 93 octane gas because E85 is not something we have in my area. The car is a whole new joy to drive, words cant describe what a difference the Ktuner makes. I'll post a pic of the graph my tuner posted, 247whp and (I could have sworn it was 312tq) but he posted 308tq, I'm not going to fuss over 4tq lol. the car runs great but I have had an issue with the check engine coming on, the code that its giving is P0128. Something about the engine did not heat up to operating temp of 160 degrees within a certain about of time. Its done this twice. Is it something I should be worried about?

I would get rid of that Injen intake, because from what I have read that intake sucks for our cars. I would change it for the 27won intake. You can search the forums here and read the negatives about it.
Great numbers though on the dyno.

Do you guys read the posts before commenting?

He is already protuned with the injen intake. I’d leave it on now, but i would have spent that money elsewhere instead.

Great results and happy that you are happy with your car.

Thanks guys. Any idea on the P0128 code I'm getting now? Can I fix it where it doesnt throw that code? Is it something I should be worried about?

@turbo dragon

From what I just Googled, there are a few videos on your P0128 code and to do about it. I am on my phone typing this at the moment, hence no links. Check them out when you have the opportunity.

Btw: I think you have a nice setup. I will even add that since you are tuned AND have an upgraded intercooler that your Injen intake is a good choice. Even over the PRL Cobra Intake (From looking at the Innovative Motorsports dyno plot comparison). Hope you are enjoying your setup.

Thanks Myx, I am enjoying it, when I get to drive it lol. I really only get to drive it on the weekends. I've heard a lot of things about the injen CAI, but I see others use it and have 0 issues, plus I like the wrinkle red look and no one else is offering that. I guess I could have bought something else and painted it myself, like I did the black plastic intake piece and the valve cover. I will look that code fix up and check it out.

Check HERE for some info about the code.
I found the link informative. In the link, it mentions that the severity of the code is low.

As for your intake, it's fine. You are tuned for it so potentially no problems with short term/long term fuel trims hopefully. And since you have an intercooler, you shouldn't have any problems with potential heat soak since the filter is within the engine bay. So you are gold! It's freer flowing than stock and shorter than the PRL. Two pluses and you've taken care of the negatives. Oh...and thanks for sharing your dyno. Those are some great numbers. Interesting dyno curve too.

Very impressive! Congrats!

I couldn't help notice the 94F ambients you have in Macon (you're not too far up the road from me, actually).

Those are solid now... but good lord is that car going to be a ton of fun in the winter. Even my only-TSP-Stage 1 car was fighting for traction in the colder months.

You custom tune will make any potential injen problem not applicable. As I think someone mentioned... if you ever do change intakes for another same-diameter one... do check on how it takes as your present tune may have corrected for any dimensional difference that injen might of otherwise had. I assume more folks have no issues than do with those intakes... but there's been enough data points to show there's some issues that it's just something to keep in the back of your head for any potential future change.
