I just installed the flash pro the other day,I don't have that much seat time with it. But it seems in sport mode I can only feel a slight difference. In R mode its night and day difference from stock. Is that the general consensus experience?

No, with the Swift Spec R springs I prefer the slightly more comfy SPORT mode until change is warranted.

using the base map, the power in sport mode and R mode should be exactly the same.

Yes , but if I'm stuck in traffic I'll bump it down to sport or comfort since I don't need that super sensitive/quick throttle response when I'm going 5mph. The thing I hate about comfort mode is the steering is way too loose while still feeling very electronic. I wish you could adjust the steering response. Comfort dampers with sport steering and throttle would be great. I leave sport at the base map throttle values but bump it up in +R. I at least know it's doing something because R breaks traction much more easily than sport.

I'm waiting on my ECU to return, but I have a map ready for it and yes, it will have R+ mode defaulted to on.

This may have been asked before, but has anybody developed a software that allows you to pick and choose specific settings form each mode? Would love to have the Sport/+R throttle response with comfort dampers for commuting and long distance highway travel

the throttle response can be adjusted with ktuner or hondata.
If that is what you are after, you can change the throttle response in comfort to match the throttle response of the sport mode with a tuning unit.

What you can't do is alter the steering effort, and dampers, rev match aggressive independent of one another.

i would like to be able to start in comfort mode myself. 90% of the time i have the wife and kids with me and its in comfort mode. it typically only goes in R mode when i get the car alone. hardly ever use sport

Since my custom tuning, I have adjusted all 3 driving modes very differently. With the cold weather here I don't start in R mode. I have targeted much less requested torque in sport mode to try to retain some semblance of acceleration, especially in the first 3 gears even with an aggressive traction control setting!
