I just discovered this item: https://www.theretrofitsource.com/honda-civic-oem-plus-led-heads.html

With the 10% off code I have, the cost will be $450 for the set. It seems to be a very good price to upgrade from the halogen headlamp in the LX EX to the Touring style headlamp. This also has sequential LED blinkers which would look very nice.

Is there anyone who has already bought this item who can give me some insight before I pull the trigger on these?

I bought these and they are great. They make the civic look premium and the output is decent. I would suggest getting the XB LED fog lights as well. The fogs fill in the areas the LED are lacking. The signal light is sequential and It’s all plug and play.

It's kind of hard to find this lip, but this is the only seller I saw with it. It looks great and fits pretty good. Had to use some elbow grease and a heat gun, but overall construction was good.

Pro-tip: Use vinyl tape to mock up the lip to the bumper. Drill pilot holes first from the lip to bumper. Then use bolts and nuts to secure the lip to bumper. This will ensure a more secure and better looking fitment of the lip.

I appreciate the info! I have a front lip as well, but looking for something else in case I wanted to switch up the look. Seeing your’s is the one I’m looking for, cause it’s still very subtle. Thanks!

I was thinking about getting it as well but was worried about how cheap it is. Is it worth it in terms of the output?

I would say yes with the fog lights, but I was going to buy the fogs anyways. The headlights have a good beam and are brighter than the stock halogens, but the beam cut off is kind of funny. The fog lights illuminate wide and fills the areas below the cut off and the sides of the headlights. I have confidence in The Retro Fit Source vetting their products before putting them on the market. They have a pretty good reputation. The headlights do make the Civic look good though. I'll try to get some night shots when I get a chance.

So I did the headlights swap. Cannot be happier with the result.

Just installed mine, they're way more powerful than the regular lights and the output is way better. Only problems I have with mine are the right DRL is just a tiny bit dimmer (not that noticeable tbh it's just me being a perfectionist) and when I turn on the parking lights they do not dim and instead they stay on the brightest setting. Don't know if those two problems are the unit's problems or just wrong wiring from my part.

My only question for now would be how do you guys aim and align the lights on those? I can see like a big circle thingy on the back of the headlight unit (accessible from the engine bay) and like a small screw in the middle of it. Am I supposed to rotate that screw using a screwdriver or something?

Better late than never. Here are night shots of the output. You can see with the fogs on the beam spreads wider and the throw is further. They work and look great. Highly recommended!
