Added a TPMS to the Civic over the weekend. Install was a snap and now I know exactly my tire pressures in real time not just when the low pressure alarm goes off in the car.

I just cant figure out the screw nut you have to install first, what exactly is the purpose? it doesnt prevent theft, dam near impossible to tighten on my rims as there is almost no clearance.

Well, I sent my ECU off to Hondata for jailbreak.

Got in the car, turned the ignition on and watched all kinds of errors flash on my screen due to no ECU. LOL!

Looks like an interesting product based on silent youtube videos Im watching at work :) Will have to research this more I think. All of these coatings are going to only improve as the years go on. Im good for two years with mine, it will be interesting to see what is avail when it comes time for me to reapply.

Got it on Amazon.
Great, I will have to check it out. Has it been accurate since using it?

I think it has but it has also raised more questions that I now have to ask and has also made me realize different things that I never even thought about in the past. Like a tires psi increasing and decreasing in the tire as you roll down the road. For example, when I got into the car today my tire pressure was 46psi (Max is 51 per sidewall) I was at 51psi on both front tires when I got to my destination with my high alerts going off. Call me a noob but I always thought if you fill a tire at a set psi it would stay there, or go down. Not fluctuate.

Why are your pressures so high?

I filled my tires before installing, ma xs pressure on the side wall said 51psi so I thought it would fill it to 50 psi like I always do. Better gas millage better wear and a stiffer ride.

50 psi is quite high. I see that when cars are at the dealership, but supposed to be reduced to 32-34 psi during the PDI. At 50 psi, you'll be wearing out the center of your tread faster because of the increased pressure/over-inflation.

Deflate those down to more like the mid 30's ASAP. The car's suspension was designed to work best at much lower air pressures. You can certainly go a few psi over the door sticker for better mpg but like the above poster said they will actually wear unevenly at 50 psi. It's also going to be a lot more prone to road hazard damage.
