For everybody wondering what the GTX2860R GEN2 was capable of with our 10th Gen Civic 1.5T Big Turbo Kit, we managed to put down 403 horsepower and 420 ft/lb torque today. We're still on the small .64 A/R turbine housing, stock ECU with @KTuner and MS100 race gas. Who's excited to see how much further we can push things with the .86 A/R larger turbine housing?! Keep in mind that this is one of the smallest turbochargers compatible with our kit. This same setup made 340ish horsepower last week on 93 octane pump gas for the record.

Little update on our turbo kit build with the shop Civic. This shows the potential that someone could feasibly do with our smallest options on the turbo kit and internals on the stock ECU. First night out on this setup laying down an 11.46 at 123.25mph and a best of 1.62 sec 60ft! Quite impressive for a small displacement economy car.

Our Current 2017 Honda Civic Si Setup:
-Stock ECU with KTuner (Custom Tuned by PRL Motorsports)
-Stock Fuel System with no secondary source; running MS100 race fuel
-Clutchmasters Twin Disc Clutch
-GTX2860R GEN2 with the small .64 A/R turbine housing
-CNC Werx CSS Cylinder Block
-Brian Crower Rods
-JE Pistons 73.5mm Bore and 10.3:1 Compression
-Brian Crower Spring and Retainer Kit
-Front Belak 13x9 with 8.7/25x13 M&H's
-Rear Belak Skinnies 15x4.5 with 4.5/25x15 Mickey Thompsons
-Fastbrakes Single Piston 10" Drag Brakes
-PRL Motorsports Upgraded Turbo Kit
-PRL Motorsports Race MAF Cobra
-PRL Motorsports FMIC w/ Charge Pipes
-PRL Motorsports Frontpipe
-PRL Motorsports 3" Turndown
-PRL Motorsports Stickers
-D2 Springs w/ Stock Struts
-AeroSpec Racing Carbon Sunroof Insert
-Removed Rear Seat & Air Conditioning

Lol I can do some revs. But no 2 step on this one. All that fun stuff will come next week with the dyno tune!

What kind kind hp would looking at in a 2017 hatchback sport without e85 since I cant get it in my area
You'll be able to use our turbo kit as it will fit to all 1.5T civics. Power wise it will depend on what you are tuning for, our turbo kit will be able to handle far beyond what the civic can handle with currently available mods. The internals on the Si or type R models are much stronger than the base models so this will be your limiting factor.
I'm interested in this answer as well. I'll be more specific though.
2018 Hatchback CVT
PRL Cobra Intake (Race Maf)
PRL Downpipe
Ktuner Stage 2 base map

Just plopping in this turbo upgrade (With your attached downpipe included), what kind of power difference can be expected......at the horsepower max?
I'm not interested in midrange torque. ONLY top end. Was browsing to find people with this upgrade on a CVT but no luck...yet (Still looking). I'm running Ktuner Stage 2 base map with your Cobra Intake and Race Maf. Thanks!

There is currently one CVT turbo upgrade in the wild that is tuned by IMW and is pushing around 280hp with a boost by gear calibration. This is to help prevent the CVT belt from slipping and damaging the transmission. This customer has been running this set up for a few months now :)

This is right up my alley then. Again, my midrange is completely fine. Don't want or care for all the extra/instant torque I've been seeing in the dyno graphs. Not needed. Just peak hp beyond the 5000rpm point and especially at the 6000rpm (Where torque is falling off dramatically). This is where my car's engine rpm will be the full time I go wide open throttle. Thanks!

Just got mine back from the shop, and i must say the difference from stock is astounding. Had to be a bit conservative on the TQ due to the CVT. She still has to get groceries, y'all
