i had this problem before.I called swift and asked for a solution about the clunking noise .they didnt have any one piece of advice still blamed me on my install. said I installed it reversed. I took it off and tried switching it from left to right and vice versa but there was no way it can be reversed there is only one way it can go in. found a solution from other forums and pic below is exactly what i did. tein spring silencer.

does you have to remove the springs again to put them on?

it's either your top hats are not tight enough, your sway bar end links are not tight enough, or the springs clap/spring binding.

you can also try loosening all the bolts and then retightening them underload if you didn't do that.

i have eibach pro-kit springs
my squeaking and clunking were super obnoxious.. from low speed to minor bumps to any turns..... until both side of the sway end link nuts... both to the strut and sway bar were super tighten...

"night and day"....

eibach springs usually come factory with those rubber installation.
make sure your strut mount are correctly tighten also... left / right spring installed etc
other than that.... its the sway link nuts which are not tighten.

when you tighten it... before you put the wheels back on...
turn the steering full left and right... or even hard steer like you're swirving
to see if you hear it from there. if possible.

also... try and make sure your steering are straight center and tighten those nuts
like someone said... because while you installed the struts and the steering may shift
causing the strut to turn. when you tried to tighten the nuts, it is binded and cant
flushly tighten which will cause problems.

at first, my friend tighten it with all his might... and showed it to me.
i approved. test drove it. clunks and squeaks like a mofo
... later, he impact those same nuts again... all gone.

"...night and day..."

Probably bad front endlinks, get some moog from rockauto $15 a piece, (they are little shorter than stock about 5mm)

Btw are you lowered? Noise came after lowering?

yes, didnt do it on my d2 but now on my eibachs. even in the rear something bumps now. i didnt cut the rear bumps though. seems i gotta. im gonna cut the rears, get some large and medium silencers, and replace the front endlinks. smh i should know better. EVERYTIME i touch a suspension its SOMETHING.

do you have a link? are they any better than the stock? damn car is only a year old.
