Picked car up from Endless Shine Detailing today. Dropped it off yesterday for full detailing including paint correction and ceramic coating. Casey, the owner, made a comment on how soft the paint was. I told him that it's just melted crayons. Anyway the car looks awesome. Shiny as a diamond in a goat's ass. These pics don't do it justice. It was really overcast when I took these.

Though the shop that applied the ceramic coat claims it’s supposed to be “touchless”.... just spray the shampoo on the car and pressure wash off.... yeah right...Still need a wash mitt and (2) bucket method to clean.

I use this stuff. The place that did my ceramic sells it. Didn’t do any research on on car shampoo, just went with what they suggested. Foam Gun is a MTM PF22

Shift - Car Shampoo - didn’t realize until recently the instructions say to dilute. Was using 100% purity and wasting money like a doofus.

Cool Guy - Wheel Cleaner - reacts with the brake dust spray on and scrub the wheels with a woolie

Throttle - for waterless touch up cleaning bird turds between washes. Spray on then wipe off with a microfiber towel..

Having a daily driver and being busy at work, not having enough time to do any car stuff, and having another car to take out for a fun drive will do that to you.

I do feel like its a waste having it sometimes. I've actually had the car for a little over 2 years and I've only put on 1200 miles so far this year and 600 of it was past 2 months because i needed to burn the ethanol in my tank and in the process of doing an etune. If it wasn't for that, it'd probably still be hovering around 600 ...
I'm not like purposely trying to keep the miles low though. Just don't have enough time to split the fun drives i take between two cars.

I have been thinking about moving down to only 2 cars recently though. That would actually be the smarter choice for me but idk lol.
I feel that. In your specific case it probably does make more sense to cut down the cars. which car do you think you'd cut?

Yeah it does make more sense really. Insurance and the annual registration cost are pretty stupid down here so cutting out 1 car makes a pretty big difference. I also only have a one car garage so one of the toys is always sitting out in the driveway.

Hard to get rid of the CTR because it's decently fast and handles well while being practical. The car is also so enjoyable to drive.
If i had to choose to get rid of one, it'll probably be the ILX. It's not necessary a fun car and all it does is take me to work comfortably lol. That would mean both cars would be MT so my commute might be painful lol.

I am looking into getting rid of the ILX and the Z to get a supra though. The supra would be like a combination of the Z and the ILX. I wouldn't mind to daily the CTR but I have a decent commute in LA traffic so having an AT daily is nice lol. Just waiting for hype to die, prices to stabilize and for dealers to allow test drives to see if its really worth it.

I say get rid of the Z and ILX for the supra and daily the R! Traffic will be a bitch but aside from that you're driving an R everyday!

haha yeah. it's still up in the air.
dealers around this area are still pretty dumb so i'm waiting for all the hype to die down. I don't want to go through the same hassle i did when i first got the CTR.
