I’m new to it all and I just want to hear your experiences. :stirthepot:

Edit: For those who’s also new to tuning and want an idea on when to your car, here it is. Many have started at different miles / km and is still running strong.

I had my car for 10 months before my first tune and have now been tuned for a year and a half. First with Hondata base maps as well as my own homemade tunes. I now have a KTuner V2 and run the TSP Stage 1.

Tuning my car transformed not just the overall power but day to day driveability, too. And MPG's are about the same as stock if I keep my foot out of it.

I was close to 46,000 miles when I added in my stage 2 tune. I just passed 52,000 a couple days ago and have not encountered any problems.

Okay it seems like most tuned their car at a decent miles. Has anyone tuned their car at lower miles or is that not really recommended? Thanks for the comments guys

Ktuner at 63,000, now at 79,000mi. Running 21psi tune, no issues. No bolt one. And it's funny to see the look on people's faces when they try to pull away from me on the street.

Lol, yeah I never had a tuned car and was hesitant to do it until reading about others experience. But yeah I would have done it sooner for sure since it appears to be safe for the car. I tend to keep my cars more than 15 years.

I’m at 1k right now, should I wait longer?
You can do it now. Personally, I would wait until after the 1st oil change, the factory oil has additives that help break in the metal to metal surfaces.
