Why the heck did my Si have right turn camera and my new CTR doesn't?

Because it’s a useless distracting feature. :)

No. Seriously. I think Honda is doing away with it. I have it in my Si and Pilot and my wife and daughter love it. I hate it.

I’m really not sure why they didn’t put it in the CTR, but it’s a feature I don’t miss.

Drivers car, less assistant type tech, in the name of driver involvement and weight savings. Then again, the CTR gets rev match.....

My uncle bought his wife two CTR, one red, one blue. They are selling one. The only legit thing I can tease her about is my lanewatch camera.

Disable it from activated by turn signal, it becomes far less annoying when you trigger it manually as needed using the dedicated button on the stalk. But... The best part is preventing the passenger from using the touchscreen, lmao.

Agreed. The blind spot on LH drive cars is over the left shoulder not the right. I actually stated that to the salesman and he agreed.

I would of said it’s for passing other cars, but that feature is useless in Pennsylvania, all of these guys drive in a passing lane anyways. Gotta pass them on the right side:dunno:

I like features that provide the driver with information, but don't presume to take control of the car. That's where the 17-19 Si hit the sweet-spot for me. Glad I got one before all the Honda sensing nannies were added.

Lanewatch is great imo, you can disable it too if you want so it isnt annoying. Not sure why it isnt on the CTR because it doesnt add that much weight, its just a mirror.

Agreed -- but while most of that Automatic stuff can be turned OFF, its just more to go wrong.

I would like a LEFT lane watch Camera to match the 2018 Si's Right lane watch camera.

If I could find a Right Hand Drive Lane Watch Mirror with Camera, in Aegean Blue, I would be delighted (but probably not at the price)
