FINALLY!!!! Got answers to this bull crap! Here are pictures of si rims on a 2016 LX. There is at least 3 credit card thickness of space. This was done at the dealer and the accessories dude said it all wheel assemblies are the the same across all trim levels. Jtmase...your lx has issues.

And that's enough space that's how much I have on these acura wheels but I ordered 3mm spacers because it seemed to close but if I don't need them I'll return them and order a skunk2 shift knob

So Will this mean that the 10th gen SI wheels should fit a 9th gen LX no problem?

Hard to say, considering the 10th gen Si rim is wider than the 9th gen Si rim

Did anybody install these 9th gen Si rims on a 10th gen Si? There's a somewhat local set I'm considering as winter rims on my 2017 Si. Just a bit concerned about all that talk about calipers rubbing et al - even though my stock wheels have 50 offset and these are 47....

Update on this, that I also posted in a separate thread I had created for this specific question (in the Si-specific forum). Below is a copy-paste of my response in that thread - the background is that I had found a set of 9th gen Si wheels but was hesitant to purchase based on some of the rather consistent troubles people seemed to be having in this thread. Here goes :

----------------------

Update on this, for anyone curious : turns out my seller was actually an apprentice at a Honda dealership! When I was hesitating due to persistent fitment issues on this forum, he actually offered to test it out right at the dealership on one of their used 10th-gen Si's. The upshot : no issues. So, I pulled the trigger. =) Just came back from picking them up.

Below are the pictures he sent me of his test fitting. Not sure what order they'll be in as I've never yet uploaded pics on this forum, but I'm sure you guys'll figure it out...=) But the gist of it is, looks like there's actually a fair bit of clearance.

Cheers!

The calipers are a bit larger on the Si than other models so if it fits there it should fit no problem.

Are there any pictures of these wheels on a 10th gen 2017 Civic LX coupe? I want to be 100% certain there is no rubbing with the calipers and such.

I just got these.
Will be wrapping them in 235/40 and mounting them in a couple of weeks on my 2017 Touring.
I'll post the results

Here are my conclusions:
Front calipers are incredibly close to the rim but I'm not even worried about it as they should never touch.

Tire size:
- 235/40 is the closest you can get to the OEM diameter for speedometer accuracy being only 0.2% or 1.6mm smaller. The only concern some may have is that 8" is the recommended rim width for a 235 and these are 7.5" but as you can see there are no meaty sidewalls in these pictures, in fact they are perfectly perpendicular to the ground.
235s actually have a bit of a stretched look on the 8" rims found on the post 2019 10th gen Tourings.

- 215/45 is the closest you can get to OEM diameter if you don't want to increase tire width. This being the reason why this tire is often recommended over the 235. It has roughly the same dimentions in terms of height and width. But when only judging the diameter it is 1% or 3.9mm bigger than OEM

- 225/40 is the OEM 9th Gen SI size but is too small for the 10th Gen. Being 2% or 9.6mm smaller than OEM.

Performance:
I felt an overall improvement in handling when cornering and better grip under heavy rain but the tire upgrade to Michelin Pilot Sports is most likely the reason for this and not the rim size increase.

Damn I can't stop looking at my Civic now!

Many 2016 Civic owners have looked within Honda's own wheels lineup for possible 'aftermarket' wheels to mount. A popular potential wheel has been the 18-inch wheels from the 9th gen Civic Si. Several 2016 Civics have now been fitted with these wheels, so fitment is not an issue. And we think the styling also fits the 10th gen Civic sedan quite well.

My FC3 came with these wheels. I honestly dont see how these match the styling on 10th gens. Please enlighten me or i wills spend $2500 on an enkei + toyo setup.
