I just got an EX about a week ago and i've read online about people having issues with the OEM tire (non civic owners). i'm just curious if any actual civic owners have had issues. i"m okay using them for now but if they're really prone to flats i'd rather get a new set this spring.

No issues per say. They work fine for regular daily use but anything more than that it is so so. I upgraded to Continental DWS06 which are much better.

I was considering Continentals for my next tire. Now I'm going with Michelin Pilot Sport 3 A/S+. It's a new improved version of their previous ultra high performance all season tire.

They handle well but be extreamly careful and avoid pot holes. On my 2017 EX hatch within a week of driving i landed in a pot hole. Made a baseball size bubble in the sidewall. It was covered by Continental waranty since i only had a few hundred miles on the car. Last year same thing happend in winter time to another tire. No longer covered under basic Continental waranty. Had to shell out $200 for a single tire at Mavis discout. This summer i hit another pot hole with 18K miles on the car. Another bubble on 3rd tire. Not as noticable as before still annoying. These tires are crap. Just my opinion.

im at about 24000 miles on my stock tires and the road noise is terrible, I can barely even talk to the people in the car with me. I am about to get new ones.

New 2019 Civic Hatchback Sport Touring with only 300 miles. Continetals seem fine. Mostly highway driving and the last few days lots of rain. Handles fine on expressway with lots of water. But I came from driving a Mini Cooper Coupe with run flat tires. Car was light and original tires hydoplaned. I went with Pirelli Cinturato p7 for the Mini. Will look at choices when it is time to replace. Need something good for heavy rain here. Not sure what Honda Dealers offer.

I get a lot of tire spin accelerating from stop on a wet roadway with my Pirelli Cinturato p7's. I have Conti DWS06 on my other car, and I prefer their wet traction (granted, it's an all-wheel drive BMW).

And NEVER EVER buy tires from a dealer unless they price match somebody like tirerack.com

I just put a set of Cooper RS3-G1's on my Civic, and wet traction is unbelievably good. I will do a full review once I get a couple thousand miles on them, which will take very little time for me to do. Have not seen snow yet. Noise level is ok, nothing to write home about, but grip is off the charts.

I have had 4 flat tires in 7 months with my new Honda Civic Sport Hatchback: Continental tires. Im ready to take this beautiful car back to the dealer. Im not looking forward to flat tires
during the upcoming winter months.

I haven't had 4 flats in 35 years of driving. Sounds like bad luck to me or where you're driving. I've had Continental DWS 06 for 2.5 years. They've been very good. Have you had 4 punctures or just randomly going flat?

The dealer wants to attribute it to bad luck, but I owned a Honda Fit for 10 years living in the same location that Im currently living in, and had 4 flat tires in 10 years.
One flat tire was because of a nail, and the others were from pot holes. I don't get it.
