I made it all the way to "This car is rockin" with one more change:

Using Bluetooth Audio from iPhone with iPhone EQ set to "Loudness" mode!

I had the rearview mirror shaking from the bass! For me, that's the gold standard.
I am done modifying the audio with all speakers and sub remaining stock.

Thanks to the iPhone's built in AGC (I believe enabled via iTunes, I know, I am old to be still using that.) each track is coming out at the same level, despite a mix of 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000's music.
The pre-amp section in Apple products has always been above average, from back in the iPod days.
I did have to adjust the EQ a bit more and lower ViperBass to not blow myself away completely.

Remember, when I bought this car the audio was "Utter crap!".

Though it's messing with some stuff I don't quite understand I may have to look further into these solutions. Thanks for the info gang!

OK, I took some shots of my configuration. First off, in order to get any of it to work I first had to do this "Lock Effect Mode" Headset.
Even so, it is only working for USB music, and not Apple CarPlay. If anyone has that trick, let me know.

Here go the settings, starting with Spectrum Extension:

FirEqualizer: My trick here is to reduce low bass frequencies, focusing on the mids and highs as I like it. I use ViperBass later to bring in the low freqs, with an emphasis on the high end of low, thanks to this EQ pattern:

Field Surround effect:

Dynamic System is another bass booster, not sure why it is separate from ViperBass, but I split the effect between both:

Now, the centerpiece, ViperBass!:

And ViperClarity, for the high end!:

And that's the first time I've seen anyone post their Viper settings!

Again, if anyone knows how to make Viper apply to CarPlay, I would love to have that.
I will try with these setting today. My settings are little different but I enabled viperclarity and differential sound for HAAS effect

Does all this junk work with just the radio also? I'm assuming by Bluetooth Audio you guys mean my normal Music app on my phone, right?

Not sure why, but only works for USB, Bluetooth, and someone said Android Auto, which I cannot verify.

FM and Sirius will continue to sound like AM radio or NPR.

For android auto what settings do i mess with?
Is iy headset, speakers bluetooth?
I can confirm it does work for android auto. I only changed settings on the HU via viper4android following the settings posted earlier in this thread. When you hit the system power on/off in viper you can REALLLLLY notice the difference. I find the sub to be too high in "volume" at lower volume levels but at medium to high volume its perfect.

Well count me as a V4A convert now! I just installed it this evening on my '19 CTR and it already has made a big difference in the sound quality and I haven't even fully configured all of the settings yet. I am so happy with the results so far and I'll try the settings WhiteSi posted in this thread. I also found a site that explains what most of the settings in V4A : http://vipersaudio.com/blog/?page_id=43

There's so many different settings that it's gonna take a bit of time to fully fine tune my audio but it's made a VERY noticeable difference already. I finally have bass! YAY!
