Hey guys, just installed my set of 18” +45 titans with 255/40/18 PS4S. They look great but I noticed my steering wheel being slightly off center to go straight. Car was driving straight as an arrow right before the switch to the Titans. Any idea what this could be? Did anyone need an alignment after installing their titans?

Assuming you didn't do any suspension mods at the same time (springs/coils), you typically shouldn't have to get an alignment. The only alignment I needed was after I installed springs, but I did that before I installed my Titans.

Thanks for the input. I have heard the same- that an alignment isn’t really necessary unless you change height. That’s why I didn’t have it done with the wheel install. I would think the offset would change the geometry up a bit but I guess not.

I’m wondering if it’s one of the tires, or if I just hit a pothole beforehand and didn’t notice the alignment being slightly off with the stock wheels. When I look under the car, the back wheels do not look like they’re pointing in the same direction. The steering wheel is literally like 5 degrees off, but it’s enough for me to notice it. I have to keep tilting it over to move straight, especially at high speeds. Didn’t have time to go back to the shop for an alignment today but will be going tomorrow morning.

Any other insight is appreciated guys. Here are a couple shots:

Yeah I had my alignment checked when the tire place mounted my new wheels, but nothing was out of the ordinary (except the added camber from the spring install). If you remember hitting any large potholes on the old setup, you might want to get the alignment checked out anyways.

Went today, front left toe was 21 degrees compared to 12 on the right, which I guess explains why the car was pulling to the right (too much toe in on the left side). Feels good now, they got the toe down within spec on both sides, front and rear.

I always though machine black looked better on PMM but after seeing this, i much prefer this. Looks great. How do you like their wlug nuts? As far as I understand they are not locknuts are they?

Thanks! Trust me, I went back and forth between satin titanium and machine black for months. I couldn’t be happier with the satin titanium. I love their lug nuts. Seriously light as a feather. All 20 weigh 15.5 oz. (0.8 oz per nut). All 20 stock weigh 3.1 lbs. (2.4 oz per nut). No, they have no lock nuts.

Wow, that is so light! Im still tossing up whether to go satin titanium or machine black on my CW CTR. Will definitely order their nuts as well when I finally make up my mind.

Hey guys. Anyone have a trick for getting the center caps to fit? I feel like anytime I change a tire and take the center cap off after initial installation, it doesn’t go back in completely- like the O-rings are now too loose and getting in the way. Anyone have the same issue or ever find a solution?

Had the same issue with one of the caps. I just removed the one o-ring that was loose and so far it has held up.

Titan 7 website shows the +45 offset still available to order in techna bronze. Not in stock but their wait time usually isn’t so bad (1-2 months).
