The infotainment screen keeps going back and forth between showing the main screen and then a black screen. The screen does not work when you touch it, and the physical buttons don't work either. Holding down the power button doesn't prompt a reboot.

Any tips or should I take this to the dealer?

If I plug in my Android phone, Waze comes up and music plays through Spotify, but the touch screen still doesn't work and the screen continues to flicker.

Following up in case someone else experiences this issue

The screen was frozen and blinking in accessory mode. I just went back out to the car for lunch, and upon starting the car, the issue has resolved itself, at least for now

I also noticed some glitching if you use a cheapo usb cable. It also happened to me using my old Note 9 with a mophie case. Once removed from the case everything worked perfect.

Did your 19 have a male/female extension from the factory? My 18 didn't, but my 19 came with a cable that goes from under the dash to the little phone space. I've been plugging into that instead of directly into the USB port

I was having connection issues for Android auto until I got a dental pick and cleaned out the usb-c port on the phone. There was enough lint in there to keep the phone from having a solid connection. The larger opening of usb-c vs micro-usb let's more crud collect. Make sure you turn off your phone before cleaning, just in case ;)

Mine did come with the extension but I don't use it. I use a samsung usb c cable straight to the cars usb. Zero problems.

Have you taken it to the dealership by chance?

If it happens again your should have a fuse for your radio in the fuse box under the hood. Turn the car to accessory mode and remove the fuse for about 30 seconds and put it back in. Mine has done something similar before and that was the quickest way to fix it.

Take it to the dealer, that's the first thing I would've done. It's a 2019 vehicle which means the issue should not be happening in the first place, and if it does it's 100% covered under warranty so it's their job to make it right. If you take it to the dealer that's your best chance at getting this resolved.

no, it resolved itself upon starting the car and has been fine since. if it happens again, I'll take it in. But there is no point bringing it there if I can't replicate the issue.

This happened to me yesterday. I have Honda Hack though, and from what I've seen is that if you have the reverse cam ON and then put it in reverse, it'll crash the system. Took a good 10 minutes to get back to working again
