My C7 Z06 supports NLS with the OEM tune, which is a feature I use all the time when on track.

I will be instructing at VIR this weekend and will be driving my 2019 Type-R.

Before I try it and potentially get run over, was wondering if it is a feature of the stock tune.

Thanks.

There's an option but whenever I try it the car completely bogs down. It's like someone sucked the power right out the car in an instant lol.

Didnt have this issue in the Si

I know this is like discussing politics or religion (or oil), but is there a general consensus of which product (Ktuner or Hondata) is better for roadcourse work?

Are these products 'safe' for extensive track use (i.e. 8+ 20 minute sessions an event), because your warranty goes right out the window.

I had a Honda Regional Rep tell me Honda can easily determine when the ECU has been modded or even swapped if there are engine issues and it's one of the first things they have techs check.

Warranty is out the window the second the tires touch a track. But besides that base tunes are safe.

Well, that isnt true because I've had numerous issues repaired under warranty including tires, computer, and brakes and I was honest with the dealer and the Honda Area Rep that I track the car. It is stock however.

Thanks.

They must be the best dealership in this country then. Because Honda wont cover.

I no lift shift mine without turning on no lift shift in hondata and I did it on the stock tune. The bog down the other person is referring to when you no lift shift is the clutch delay valve. When I wot shifted with the cdv there it was like hitting a brick wall because of the delay.
