Took delivery of Touring in Vancouver

Took delivery of my 2016 touring today. First in Vancouver, Canada I believe. For those wondering I paid $700 below msrp for the car plus negotiated in all weather mats and free lifetime oil changes.

Coming from a 2008 Accord coupe EX-L (i4) this civic not only pulls much harder but is leaps and bounds nicer than my accord.

The dealer also put on the stupid hood deflector. He tried to surprise me with it... I didn't know what to say. I have to figure out how to remove it now, it looks like adhesive was used to secure it.

Yeh like he was doing me a favour. When I went in to pick up the car he told me he had a "special surprise for me that I was going to like"...right..

I have no idea what it does, deflect bugs?

lmao it's supposed to create a "wind shield" against bugs.. I think it's total bullshit though

If you want it removed, I would politely say I didn't like it and ask them to remove it. Any damage taking it off should be their risk.

Our dealer surprised us with chocolates for my wife and a wash bucket and mitt for me.

thks for your quick response. no photos needed....i am looking for the gray lether in Canada.
all local delearship and Honda Canada says it's not available but our US friend have it with modern steel or cosmic blue.
good luck with your rain ....was there in september .....wasn't that bad except fro the big winds that have stop the sky train.

No Civic models are available in Canada with a grey interior. They're all black interiors except a Crystal Black Pearl where you have the choice of black or ivory leather.

Our salesman went through two windshields within a month on his CRV and since I put the Honda bug deflector on it there has not been an issue since 2010. No guarantee, but it does seem to have helped...
