Active Noise Canceling is the opposite of the fake engine noise. ANC listens for cabin noise, and outputs inverted sound through the speakers to cancel the noise.
Go to about 55 seconds in the video. It clearly displays the fake engine noise when in sport or sport+.

Not sure about the upgraded front vents.
Did Honda make it worse?

Yeah. I was thinking 1-2 tenths in the 0-60, 2-3 tenths in the quarter, and (maybe) another 1-2 MPH in trap speed.

*This is assuming that they didn't make any un-documented changes to the car.
Yea like the 9th gen. The 12-13 ran a 14.6-14.7. The 14-15 had a couple more ponies but was heavier. As a result the time slid back to around 15. I'm looking forward to the road test.

2012

C/D TEST RESULTS:
Zero to 60 mph: 6.1 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 15.7 sec
Street start, 5-60 mph: 6.4 sec
Top gear, 30-50 mph: 8.8 sec
Top gear, 50-70 mph: 8.4 sec
Standing ÂĽ-mile: 14.7 sec @ 97 mph
Top speed (governor limited): 136 mph
Braking, 70-0 mph: 170 ft
Roadholding, 300-ft-dia skidpad: 0.88g

2013

2013 Honda Civic Si
BASE PRICE
$23,305
0-60 MPH 6.1 sec
QUARTER MILE 14.6 sec @ 95.6 mph
BRAKING, 60-0 MPH 109 ft

2015

the car bursts through the 60-mph barricade in 6.5 seconds before finishing the quarter mile in 15 seconds flat and trapping 93.5 mph. The times and speed nearly sync up with the first K24-equipped coupe we got our hands on and place the '14 near the straight average of the 2006-2013 Si group.

I would expect the 17-19 to have better times. But what can you do?

Good change:
LED headlamps (and supposedly the beam range is extended from the original LED headlights as well)

Neutral changes:
Bumper cover, as it's cosmetic and it will be up to each person to decide whether they like it or not (personally, not a fan)
Active engine noise. Turbo engines are on the quiet side, and it could just come down to preference. (personally, not a fan of fake engine noise. Would rather get stiffer mounts and enjoy the sounds that way)
Shorter final drive. The gears are already short on this thing, barely taller than my current 07 GTI (65 MPH puts me at 2500 RPM). According to TTAC, mileage is decreased by 2 MPG for both city and highway. (personally, would rather have taller/more easygoing gears)
Red seat accents: It's looks a little weird in the photos, and again, is cosmetic. I probably wouldn't even notice as my butt would be covering it.

Bad changes:
No objectively bad changes here.

Personally, I don't like any of the changes except the LED headlamps and even then the stock halogens weren't bad when I had one as a Turo rental.
2019 seems to be the only model year I would consider buying as it has the better interior bits.

No one would have been shocked if the Si was given a 2.0L instead of our teeny 1.5 (hell, it was probably expected), but I think people have rightly guessed that they wanted to keep the Type-R as distinct and distanced from the rest of the Civic line-up as much as possible. But 205hp/192lb-ft is still great considering how small this engine is, and ought to keep running longer than any of us really need it to. (Plus, dat MPG )

Is the Si geared like my Lx. Here is a pic cruising at 75. I’m right at 2900 rpm

Not sure if they really test the 2020 SI, look like they just update the text based on the previous review

I like that wheel style, but not black. Wonder if you can get them in silver/unpainted.

Ohhhhh no. No no no no no no no no no.

Also new for the 2020 model year is Active Sound Control, which uses the audio system to enhance the engine sound during aggressive driving.

What have you done?
I guess/hope this is only for the Si?
They should at least offer a way to turn it off in the hidden diagnostics/settings screen.

Hopefully the gearing was worth the 2 mpg.
Swapping the shorter dc5 integra type r final drive into the us rsx-s was one of the best and most popular mods for that car. Hopefully this change is as well received, but i don't see why it wouldnt be.
