He's not even beating the BMW if he's tuned . Out of curiosity though, was it the older E39 (2000-2003) 540i with the V8? Or a newer 2018-present model with the inline 6 turbo? If it's the newer one, sorry but there is absolutely no way you beat him unless he let you.

2nd what consisted of fully dinan?? is it aesthetics mods or Power performance mods or handling?
I have see AC Schnizter E36 M3.. but those where just wheels, side skirts and spoiler mods, and some suspension fine tuning so not much on the power side, now a Ac Schintzer E36 318ti is something else(Ohh my first love )

YES stock 540 are not the fast thing god Almighty holy grail performance either but they no slouch at all even the old V8s a stock si would have its hands full to outrun one. yes power to weight ratio is key but so is power band so is gearing and torque. V8 n/a instant up swigging power vs small 4cyl 1.5t (noteven 2.0)flat torque with down swinging power past 4.5k rpm

I was trying to let this thread die lol...

Clearly some people know about BMWs and especially modified and performance versions.

They also have common sense, which is becoming inherently less common these days...

To add some insight to this and some details the OP is tuned on flex fuel but was he running flex fuel then hopefully so.
Dinan has stages, up to 5 of them LOL some are for interior or exterior aesthetics things. A top stage 5 dinan on old v8 will not put more then 340hp at the crank. thats exhaust intake and a tune plus w.e bs modes they add so I can see a tuned on flex fuel Si outrun a dinan w.e given power to weight ration. But anything less then flex fuel tuned NOT gonna happen.

In my opinion these are the only two BMWs that are worth anything

I trapped lower than I should have. I spun through 2 whole gears. First time at a track and forgot a key component.. tires.. I was on barums smh.. I’m getting new tires and will go back to the track and post some real numbers

Just posting a reply because I’ve driven all the cars you listed. A modded si could definitely beat a C43 Amg in any type of racing except from a dig and even then the si would most likely catch up but it would be super close. A gto, personally, if the driver can drive the car right, there is no way in hell. Even a stock gto would walk your si from my speculation. Now, the c5 corvette, he let you win or his car broke! That is a flat 4 to sub 4 second 0-60 car that runs a quarter mile in 12.4 seconds. That is the only one I really find hard to believe but hey you got video evidence so! Haha the si is a great car but a corvette if driven right would and should definitely win. No hate, just from personally experience the si doesn’t have quite enough even if it was pushing 300 wheel hp.

LS1 GTO's only trap 104-ish.

As for the C5 Vette, it could have been an earlier auto. Just a guess though.
