Based on descriptions here, the KTuner base map behaves a bit differently than TSP. KTuner deliberately tapers boost in the higher RPMs so as to not overtax the turbo. Regardless, I don't think there's much more power to be had above 23 PSI without tweaking other parameters.

TSP keeps midrange torque comparatively soft, and flexes power in the upper RPMs. And I think they tweak the ignition/fuel to get the power they advertise. Even at 17 PSI, you're probably making a bit more power over the base calibration.

I'm just curious as to why people pay for the TSP tune if they are not going to stay on mostly Map3? I mean, why not just stay with the Ktuner base maps and save yourself the $80. I'm not looking to stir up any drama, just really curious as to why you would pay extra for a tune only to use maps which are less potent than the Ktuner base ones.
Another thing you gotta think about is that if you didn't own a Ktuner before and you buy it off of TSP, the stage 1 tune is free. Thats what I did and I usually drive on Map 2 in normal mode. Only hit Map 3 Sport twice. Once when I uploaded it to try it on, and once on the highway when this guy in an eclipse was trying me for like 2 miles before I finally gave in and showed him my HDMI port.

TSP stage 1 tune comes free if you buy your Ktuner from TSP, secondly Map 1 although stock, they make some enhancements to increase throttle response and Map 2 is really all most people need for some extra performance. Even if one has to pay the $60 (or $80) for their tune due to buying a Ktuner from somewhere else, it is definitely better than the Ktuner base maps I have tried

1. When you upload the TSP stage 1 tune, you’ll have the ability to toggle between the 3 modes using your cruise control buttons.
2. 205 is crank hp. These are whp number, though si’s dyno closer to 190 ish stock.
3. Yes roughy 25 hp with ktuner map. It’s 55hp gain on the high side, yes with tsp stage 1. These numbers vary slightly depending on elevation, fuel, temperature etc.
4. I’m running the stage 2 which is 27-28psi and have been told by the tuner himself this is no problem for the turbo.
5. Firestone Indy 500’s are a good option and you don’t even need an android phone, just get the tuner view for the head unit.
So you can toggle between map 1-2
-3 with cruise control of you have tsp stage 1 tune?

Also if I’m going to get a ktuner v1.2 . Can I change tunes if I have the app or do I need a computer or v2 to do that?

Hi,
you can change tune directly with tunerview if it is installed in head unit.

Are TSP settings for boost adjustable ??
I just may not want to go as high as 24.5 PSI boost.

TSP map 2 - 19psi normal/21.5psi in Sport Mode.

You can also do BBG settings to limit boost, however, those limits will be applied on all maps.

Hi All
I'm new to all this and I have recently ordered a 2019 Honda Civic hatchback sport 6MT.
How will the TSP affect me.
Looking for a slight gain when feeling squirrely, but nothing crazy Beastly that will destroy my clutch.
I think the factory based is originally 16.5 Boost.
All comments or direction of threads or excetera on this would be vastly appreciated.

Just curious, will leaving the cruise control on most of the time effect anything? Reason I'm asking is since I'm tuned with TSP stage 1, the jerkiness driving in traffic sucks in the bay area with rev hang delete. Turning cruise control on(therefore disable rev hang delete) is night and day difference in traffic. If it doesn't effect anything, I'd prefer not to have to reflash and enable rev hang.

It affects rev hang, disables the advanced VSA but otherwise is harmless driving with cruise enabled.

What I don't get is... are Map 2 and Map 3 things done by TSP? I'm very confused by it. Map 3 has TSP's name on it, and I know I bought my KTuner with a TSP Stage 1 tune... but what exactly is Map 2? It doesn't have TSP's name on it, that's why I'm confused.
