I'm looking at getting the KTuner V2 as well, anyone know where the best place to buy or any discounts that are available?
Best bet is to wait for one of those 15% off everything Ebay deals.

Also, just buy the v1.2, the tune is the same. V2 has a display. They can both store tunes. Both load from Bluetooth (wouldn't recommend). V2, after tunes are loaded onto it can load directly to the ECU without anything else, but if you're like me, you'll likely just load the tune directly while plugged in via laptop and go. Doesn't make sense to get the V2 unless you're constantly swapping tunes, which is very unlikely.

I went with the V2 for a couple reasons. One, I don't own and didn't want to buy a laptop. I like being able to view my car info directly via the touchscreen once in a while during my drives. I do actually change parameters and test every so often and like the convenience. So for me V2 was the pick.

On the other hand, you 2.0 guys are fairly limited in your tune choice and parameters so I can see where you won't be uploading tunes often. If you have a laptop, saving $200 on a V1.2 also makes sense. And of course there's Honda Hack and Tunerview to see real-time data without a laptop.

Bottom line, both are quality choices.

The main reason I went with the V2 is because I have the LX trim. This means no touch screen and no option for Honda Hack.
And because I use iphone, I can't use Tunerview. I know that there is not much for me to monitor with my tune, but it's nice to have the option.

Are you in the US? In Canada the LX trim comes with the same touch screen as all the other trim levels.

With a 2.0NA, you're not going to be adjusting anything save the throttle response to find what you feel works for you. There's no adjusting, monitoring, just tune and go. Unless you're adding things like intake, catless, full exhaust, and even then a custom tune is load and go. There's no reason to spend the extra $200 for almost no benefit to you long term.

I'm all about supporting Ktuner, but save your dollars for the premium gas you're gonna be filling your tank with. Especially if you're not planning to do anything beyond the standard bolt ons.

I am in the US.... As of this year, all trims come with the touch screen. That wasn't the case when I bought my 2018.:(

Actually you can load the tunes directly from the V1.2. Just load them in the 5 slots in the V1.2 and you can download any of the 5 tunes from the V1.2 with Tunerview on your phone or head unit. The only problem is that tunerview doesn't show the name of the tune so you have to remember which tune you loaded in each spot.

So, I’m getting my ktuner in a few days and I already have a short ram, is there something I can do to compliment the intake or do I just use the base tune and it works with an intake? Don’t know how that works

Intake is already supported by the base tune in our car also an exhaust is supported as well. If you do add a downpipe or anything extra after that it should still run fine but a lot of people recomend to get a custom tune.
