Mouse Blocker

I just installed a Mouse Blocker under the hood. I'm being proactive with the Civic. On my last car within just a few months of ownership deer mice started hoarding seeds in the intake and had even been gnawing on the cabin filter. Luckily it was caught before they set up a nest or gnawed the wiring. I was very lucky. I did some research and installed the Mouse Blocker. Never had another mouse problem.

You must live up near Truro or Amherst... I don't get them where I am, just outside of Halifax (no garage), but my father has had them the last two winters in his garage. He just clears them out.

Yes near Truro. Also no garage.

Is there acrual data that these even work? I know that many of the types of devices are scams.

The results on the studies done have shown mixed results. There definitely no where near 100% effective though. My dad used one for years where we kept the wood for the fireplace in the basement and the mice kept coming back year after year.

I’ve had mice problems in my garage too, someone gave me a cat for free and I just turn him loose out there and let him hunt. Problem solved lol.

If they had something like this that stops birds from shitting on my car, I would buy it in a heartbeat
